Not sure if I'm unlucky or what. There always seem to be a crowd but of the few occasions that I'm here, never once their food has been up to standard.
I have ordered the basic roti canai before but it was thick and dry. Same for the other roti(s) that I have ordered before. So, this time round I ordered indomee thinking that maybe something like this wouldn't go wrong but it somehow surprises me with this (see photo). The noodle is slightly overcooked and they can't be bothered to mixed it up before serving to the customer. I don't really expect hygiene for mamak food but well, the noodle have some black stuff (see photo) which I have no clue what it is.
Service is BAD too. The waiter was looking at elsewhere when I am ordering and just walked away which I wasn't even sure if the order was taken. When I'm paying the bills, he again did the same by looking at elsewhere and happily round up the figure without giving me the full change (leaving out the coins). I don't mind that few cents if you explain to me that you don't have small change and all. BUT this is obviously not the case because when I asked for the change, he can actually give me back the money. The attitude of making assumptions that he could just leave out the coins and keeping it for himself IS...
Read moreI saw this place from Muhibbah Station and I don’t know what changed my mind but to get down and walk towards this Restaurant as I was already hungry and quite excited when I spotted an Indian restaurant around this area which is so hard to get . Let me tell y’all HOW PICKY I am when it comes to food but OMG the Tosai was surreal ! I asked for Chicken Curry and the combo couldn’t get any better . For the first time I ate Two Ghee Tosais at one go and the portion was fairly big . The only drawback is the CUSTOMER SERVICE . Bloody RUDE N UNCIVILISED Indian Nationals . They were so RELUCTANT to even explain to me what was for Breakfast until I had to ask every single thing including the refill for the Coconut Chutney . Honestly felt like slapping that fella for sulking at me because I asked extra curry . You can bring cheap Labour but don’t bring your arrogance to my Country . I’m a Malaysian and I know how our Locals treat us so if the owner is reading this , please educate your staff on how to serve ppl with respect . Besides that , I’ve got no complaints considering how RARE it is to get Indian Food around Old Klang Road . Y’all...
Read moreThe mamak itself it just okay. Has outdoor seatings and indoor. The cheese naan and Tandoori chicken is probably the only food that I'll get, apart from a regular roti and tosai...
There's also a side shop under them that sells freshly cooked meals such as nasi gorengs and mee gorengs. I'd probably skip that unless you don't mind gambling. We ordered a nasi goreng paprik and a nasi goreng tomyam. The former was okay while the latter was garbage in every way. It was dry from over cooking, lacks any real taste, no tomyam flavour at all and they chopped the lemongrass into tiny pieces and mixed into the rice which then made eating the rice super difficult (lemongrass/serai is very hard or fibrous. I don't think people typically eat them like that). There were some prawns but it was clearly not fresh and there's no other proteins otherwise. So, ya. A gamble to get food from them.
There's also shisha on the side as well if that's your thing.
Do take note that Covid SOP is barely followed in the best of times. So, don't come here if you want very...
