It is a place for like-minded individuals to connect and appreciate the shared heritage of the Commonwealth. A place with a sense of familiarity with their nostalgic interior design. Also a place for people to chill and have beers and liquor while indulging on the food with family and friends. On certain days, they do have a live cooking. However, parking can be miserable due its limited parking spots 28/6/2025 One of the standout experiences is their Lamb Biryani. It's perfectly cooked, aromatic basmati rice infused with a symphony of spices. The lamb is consistently tender and succulent, minus the greasiness. This biryani alone is a compelling reason to consider dining here. Even more notably, it also offers excellent banana leaf meals, typically as part of their Indian function menus. Served on a fresh banana leaf, you can expect a selection of flavorful balanced curries, various vegetable dishes including their fried mushrooms, and fragrant steamed rice. The authentic accompaniments including fried Tenggiri i.e. Spanish Mackarel and recently curry crabs complete the experience, allowing for a delightful and immersive journey into South Indian culinary traditions. But dishes are seasonal and only available during weekends

Im a member but due to covid, i dont dine in but do takeaways, mainly malaysian food....Service provided by front desk lady staff was good ,especially from the 2 malay young ladies on 19.5.'22 one of whom is named shah. Also outstanding service previously from a senior staff called ms shyam. The guard outside was always polite and very helpful. As for the food, the cantonese noodles was excellent, not to be missed..ditto the fried white meehoon noodles..i enjoyed the char kuay teow ,the malaysian fried rice was delicious. Tried to order their speciality lunch ..banana leaf indian curry rice with various choices of meaty add ons,but told no takeway for this particular dish unfortunately. Takeaway orders only commence from 3pm daily though...Overall rating 4 stars....the Asian food here is exceptional.. good value ,and prices are reasonable. Recommended.

Found this hidden gem for local goodies like char kway teow, mee mamak, char meehoon, teh tarik etc and it’s open to the public. There’s a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum (from St Regis caterer, no less) apart from regular Chinese cuisine. Fish and chips plus burgers also available at the bar. We tried the local stuff mentioned and they were good. Do try them out. I’m surprised we haven’t found them earlier. Should have taken more pics

How does a club attract new members, customers or even any human being to visit if treatment is like this?

Ample parking but not available to guests.

No parking available outside.

Not allowed to come in with shorts at the poolside?

Sleepers not allowed at the poolside?

Have to become a temporary member and pay RM 10 at the counter before ordering, while everyone is waiting.

We were placed at the pool under the hot sun with my 80 year old mom, my 2 managers and my family of 3 kids, my wife and I. My mom just did her cataract surgery and couldn't stand the bright outdoor while all of us were sweating.

We decided to leave and cancel our order after this disrespectful experience.

Even at KLGCC, which I frequent, it's not like this. The most exclusive and premier club of the country also doesn't have such ridiculous rules.

This club needs to reinvent itself with new wave thinking and modesty. Needs to be flexible and accommodating. There are so many other choices out there, unless you're planning to shut down.

The waiters, staffs and managers are very welcoming and helpful. But the President and committee members of the club, need to have common sense. The poolside doesn't require exclusivity. It was not like this before. I have been coming to the club since 1984. 40 years on and such disgrace.

This attitude doesn't show progress but...
