I had heard good things about this nasi lemak stall, so today I finally made my way there to see what the buzz was about. As I stood in front of the stall, slightly unsure of what to order, the owner approached me with genuine warmth and proudly walked me through his dishes. His passion and pride in his food were immediately evident, and that sincerity alone elevated the entire experience before I even took a bite.

When the dish was served, it looked familiar—like what you'd find at any big chain—but the real surprise came in the details. The crispy fried shallots and the rich, hot curry potatoes were unexpected highlights. They added a comforting warmth and depth of flavor that hit the spot, especially on an empty stomach. The combination of steaming nasi lemak and spicy curry potatoes was simply perfect. Satisfaction? A full 100%.

What truly sealed the experience, though, was the owner's follow-up. He came over to ask if the nasi lemak met my expectations—something you don’t often see these days. It’s this kind of heartfelt service and personal touch that turns a first-time visit into a loyal return.

Highly recommended—not just for the food, but for the...

This restaurant is a business area where customers are require to pay for parking fee even you are just only enter for a few minutes, around RM3 for first hour and RM1-2 for each subsequent hours.

If you don't want have a long queue you must avoid office lunch hours. And of course about the food and beverages price here are slightly higher than other area. For my crispy chicken nasi lemak is cost RM14, whereas for the famous pork nasi lemak is RM16 (or even higher, I forgot the price).

Besides nasi lemak, I had tried their Char Keuy tiao (9.5/10 | highly recommended👍🏻), Kai Ai Hor Fun aka Ipoh Hor Fun (8/10 👍🏻), Curry pan mee (7/10).

And most importantly is, I found that the beverages here especially local milk tea aka teh ice, is really bad, I tried a few times but every time also taste like suck! Even their Cham ice and Kopi ice are also bad, I rarely rated a restaurant with negative comments but once I did, it's really bad! Hopefully the owner can notice my comment and take it seriously, to re-train your staffs how to brew good...

The-Yum-Me-Place Coffeeshop is located at Plaza Batai in Damansara Heights. There are a few good hawker fare here. The Char Koay Teow is quite good, and it has reasonably good wokhei and stir fried to a delicious plateful of tantalising noodles. I daresay it’s one of the best Char Koay Teow in KL/PJ. The pork noodles is value for money and not only looks good but taste good too. The soup is quite tasty and flavourful which is an important component of soup based hawker food. The TokPork curry rice is a must if you like Nasi lemak style rice, and they have deep fried chicken that is offered as options. Other hawker fare are Wantan Mee, Chicken Rice, Pan Mee, etc.,

If you just like half-boiled eggs with toasts, it’s available too. Lunchtime is usually packed with office workers on weekdays.

Parking here is convenient due to a private car park surrounding the premise. Just drive inside the compound and find any available parking. First hour is $2.

Closed on Sundays. Breakfast & Lunch hours are the...
