Satay Kajang Hj Samuri — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Yummyyyyy up to 2 stars only!.... because the previously peanut gravy prepared during the 80's / 90's were always better tastes than ever! So does their succulent chicken & beef satay which during that good old days, it looked bigger, fatter & longer! and off-course, it tasted much better & yummy than today! For this few reasons, the original Satay Kajang Hj. Samuri had became the most porpular & first choice satay among diners throughout our country!.. No doubt about it guys!.. But sadly now, too much involvements of commercial values or perhaps, the ichy hands & fancy ideas among their family members had made the satay of Hj. Samuri became shrunk & lost its porpularity among the best satay in town. No hard feelings Bro! I'm sincerely giving my own comparision here throughout my experiences before as one of my first choice satay stall during the starting era of Tun Mahathir as our fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia. Regards everyone!...

As a level 8 reviewer, this is my fair assessment and review latest on Sate Kajang Hj Samuri. the chicken sate now comes with chicken skin smack right in the middle of between the skewered chicken meat. The beef sate too has thick beef fat in the middle between two pieces of tender beef meat. What is this? I paid for the skewered meat NOT fat or skin. I hope the management will take my comment positively and remedy this as it shortchanged the customer by putting in fat and skin.

I have been eating Sate Kajang Hj Samuri a long time and tryluly enjoyed their sate but this round truly disappointed me.

I hope to eat again but if the quality is going to continue like this time, you will lose me...

The past few years was ok. Since last 4-5 years, every time you’ve to ask for the red onions. If you asked, they’ll give you 10-12 pieces of red onion, if you asked after 7:30, SORRY HABIS. At that time cucumbers was not generous but still ok. My last straw was last month, I ordered 50 sticks takeaway and waited 45 minutes (5:40pm - 6:25pm). When I asked for red onions, SORRY HABIS. Then I asked for more cucumbers as they only gave me 1 small packet, SORRY, IT’S STANDARD OR EXTRA CHARGE. When I got home, I actually counted the cucumbers, 15 pieces!!! And the ‘kuah’ was not enough and diluted. No more Haji Samuri...
