Shang Jia Dim Sum offers a delightful dining experience with its warm hospitality, flavorful dishes, and elegant decor. From the moment I walked in, the servers made me feel welcomed. They took the time to explain the menu patiently, which was especially helpful in navigating the variety of offerings.

To my surprise, the porridge stood out—it arrived piping hot, with a balanced flavor that wasn’t overly salty. It had a comforting, home-cooked quality. The Thai sauce prawn wrapped in bean curd skin was another highlight. The contrast between the crisp exterior and the succulent prawn inside was satisfying, and the Thai sauce added just the right tangy kick.

Shrimp bean curd rolls and the classic siew mai were both well-executed, bursting with freshness. The loh mai kai (steamed glutinous rice with chicken) was rich and flavorful without being greasy. I also enjoyed the steamed fishballs, which were light yet flavorful, showing off the kitchen’s skill in preparing even the simpler items with care.

Complementing the food was the Chinese tea—fragrant and served at the perfect temperature throughout the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant deserves special mention. With its classy and modern Chinese decor, it sets a relaxing tone ideal for a weekend brunch or casual dim sum gathering.

However, one small drawback was the food service flow. Staff would deliver dishes and tick off items on the order sheet without informing us that all the food had been served. A quick confirmation would have made the experience more polished.

We have a super great enjoyable meal. The food is delicious, ingredient fresh and big portion. Lots of variety options and food made with good quality ingredient is a plus! Their ranges of dim sum from traditional options and modern creative choices. In addition, the interior is so magnifique which makes it an exciting place and makes dine in atmosphere so chill while we can enjoying the yummy food with our companions. Plus, the portion of dimsum was big size too.

Service is good and fast, although it was long queue, but wait time is minimised as their restaurant comes with a building with 3 storey, thus line moves quickly and the waiting area is airy, service also attentive.

Inside the restaurant, the interior is so nice and unique, atmosphere is cool and air-conditioned, absolutely providing very comfortable dining experience.

We go with a group of 8 pax, was appointed to 1st floor at a private with a beautiful area, it was very comfortable, relax and peace we can chill while in the same time enjoying the dishes. This is one of my preferable, unlike some others dimsum shop seats is too close and surrounding with full of noise.

Visiting on a Sunday morning requires patience, as you need to take a number from the receptionist and wait your turn. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated due to the heavy crowd.

We ordered Six Treasures 六福临门 (摩天轮), Auspicious Bundle 三阳开泰 (月亮桥), Colorful Bun 彩色蒸馒头, Signature Crispy BBQ Pork Bun 金牌雪山叉烧包, and Stewed Snow Bird Net with Red Dates 养颜红枣雪燕.

Six Treasures includes: 2 pcs Abalone Siew Mai 2 pcs Siew Mai 2 pcs Crystal Shrimp Dumpling 2 pcs Lychee Shrimp Ball 2 pcs Fried Mango Shrimp Roll 1 pc Golden Egg Tart and Portuguese Egg Tart The Siew Mai and egg tarts were decent, but the other items fell short of expectations.

Auspicious Bundle includes: 2 pcs Fried Yam Puff 1 pc Golden Egg Tart and Portuguese Egg Tart 3 pcs Shrimp Beancurd Roll Only the egg tarts stood out; the other items were underwhelming.
