I wanted to cry when I had it - all these years of living and eating in PJ -- NONE have ever come close to Sin Yuan Kee's perfectly juicy, melt-in-your-mouth char siew. The photo doesn't do it justice. This has changed my view and standard of char siu forever - Sin Yuan Kee is now officially number 1.
Can also safely say that this place is one of those rare gems that do all dishes well - their wan tan mee, pork noodles, chicken rice were also delicious. Labour of love.
