Starbucks Kiara Bay DT — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Dear Mr. Vincent Tan,

I am writing to express my disappointment with Starbucks Malaysia, particularly my recent experience at your Kiara Bay outlet on 12th May 2024. The service and customer experience were subpar, leading me to decide to cease my patronage of Starbucks Malaysia starting today.

During my visit, I ordered a simple breakfast but was informed that due to staffing issues, it would be served in a packet instead of a plate. While I understood the situation, it was disheartening not to receive the usual service standard.

Additionally, when I requested a small cup of ice cubes, initially, the request was denied by a staff member. Although they eventually provided the ice cubes, it was accompanied by a slightly unfriendly remark about potential charges for such requests in the future.

As a result of these experiences, I have decided to support other coffee brands in Malaysia, such as Coffee Bean and Zuss Coffee, moving forward. I hope that this feedback can contribute to improvements in customer service and experience at Starbucks...

Tempat yg cukup besar, luas, rilexing & good fr chills out. Dine in for 2nd time but unfortunately, both times i need to argue with the staffs about drinks menu & availability which they eithet dont know, unware & out of stock on premium drinks. As example ; i asked for ferero rocher coklat drink which the barista mention she dont know the menu & need to see preparing methods at you tube. 1st time went ordered 3 drinks which one of them was mocha praline, that was too watery ( cair lari dr taste asal ) i pernah order from another branch walk in also, that branch make the drink more better & tasty rich flavour. Kiara bay Restaurant are huge beautiful but need to slow down their air conditioner because i can feel too & freezing in just 10-15mins.. so i im visiting Starbucks, i wanna chill out there for a long time, not going back too soon because of the aircond too cold😅 other than tis, kiara bay Starbucks are...

The facade of the building is mirror-themed and the interior design are the common Starbuck's designs and furnishings.. a good place to have a chit chat with your friends or family but definitely not a place to study or meeting or chill & relax because the environment is quite noisy... It's even harder to find empty seats during peak hours.. one level of the building is definitely not enough to hold current amount of customers (and this is already the case at the time Kiara bay development is still ongoing 😅).. staff are so-so and working quite slow in my opinion.. for example, tables are left unattended for quite some time after customers left every time I went there..

Good things is the parking lots are plenty since the place is not fully mature yet.. and it's very near and has direct access to the Kepong Metropolitan Park.. do...
