Having last set foot in the Manhattan fish market for a birthday celebration with my friends a couple of years ago, the restaurant holds fond memories for me. Their flaming seafood platters, and particularly their grilled dory, are things I remember after all these years. Witness your food being flamed right before your eyes, knowing that you'll soon get to devour all that freshly melted goodness. For the longest time I've always thought that bits of cheese were being flamed, but it turns out what's actually being flamed is a special sweet and savoury flaming sauce that caramelises the seafood and accentuates its sweetness. The whole platter is evenly divided to feature a variety of piping hot seafood- a choice of fish fillets, calamari, oysters, fries and of course the manhattan flaming prawns with its flavorful batter fried to...

The place is quite nice due to current renovation. The food was good, but the service is a bit slow due to less number of staff. Ordered sweet n sour shrimp rice, but the staff gave us curry shrimp rice instead (also he key in the menu on a piece of paper but i didnt check it as i thought the order are right). i did not complain bcs maybe he didnt hear it right for the rice order. but then it happen to our drink order, which we order pepsi and ice lemon tea. but the drink that came are all ice lemon tea 😅. plus, since we came on my mom's bday, a muddy cake is included free in our order. but the cake that we ate are still frozen inside and hard 😅. luckily it was an icecream cake. after all, we just let it pass. but hoping they can improve...

The first time i went here (after soo many years) was for buka puasa last year. Foods delicious. They prepared upfront so when we came, foods already on our table.

2nd time i went bringing my parents - same menu but not so tasty anymore..

3rd time with my husband - ermm....not so tasty. Not sure if my tastebuds have changed or what.

3rd time we went dine in, we waited sooo long only to find out that the online menu order via QR was not working. Yet no one informed us earlier - when ordered through QR code, the kitchen didnt receive. When asked the staff, they informed that after order through QR, we need to call them so they...

A decent but certainly not the best western seafood chain around. Most of its menu are centered on fried variety and with that, the freshness of their seafood is questionable as deep frying will help mask it all. Portions are decent but prices are really upmarket. During MCO, they are promoting set meals which are pretty decent and that's what saved its rating for me. Dining in are currently not permitted. Recommended with reservations but its a great place to entertain friends and family for a quick seafood meal
