I came to ZUS Coffee Taman Bukit Anggerik with my daughter on 29 Aug 2025, around 10.30 pm, just before closing time. Even at that hour, the shop felt bright and welcoming, and the staff were still attentive and cheerful, preparing our order with care.
We ordered two Iced Buttercreme Lattes and one Iced White Peach Limau-nade Tea. The lattes were smooth and creamy with that buttery touch that gives ZUS’s signature drink a unique flavor — sweet but not overpowering. The White Peach Limau-nade Tea was light and refreshing, a nice citrusy-fruity option that worked perfectly as a late-night drink.
The café itself is designed in ZUS’s signature blue-and-white theme: clean, modern, and minimalist. The counter is fitted with a professional LaCimbali coffee machine, the menu boards are bright and easy to read, and the food chiller is stocked with pastries, cakes, and combo snacks at affordable add-on prices. The seating area is simple but comfortable, making it good for a quick sit-down or takeaway.
What makes the experience interesting is the story behind ZUS Coffee itself. Founded in Kuala Lumpur in 2019, ZUS set out with a mission to make specialty coffee a daily necessity, not a luxury. In just a few years, it has grown explosively, with more than 700 outlets across Malaysia by 2025, even surpassing Starbucks in store count locally. Unlike international brands that can feel heavy on the wallet, ZUS positions itself as affordable premium coffee — offering drinks in the RM7–15 range, with both coffee and non-coffee choices. Everything is Halal-certified by JAKIM, ensuring peace of mind for Muslim customers.
The Bukit Anggerik outlet reflects this brand philosophy very well: efficient service, consistent taste, reasonable prices, and a clean environment that fits the neighborhood vibe. At RM29.30 for three drinks (averaging under RM10 per cup), it’s excellent value compared to global chains while still giving that “specialty coffee” experience.
Overall, it was a simple but memorable late-night stop with my daughter — good drinks, warm service, and a sense of being part of a homegrown Malaysian coffee success story. Definitely a place I’ll return to, whether for takeaway convenience or a quick sit-in...
Read moreI’m truly disappointed with my recent visit to Zus Coffee Bukit Anggerik Cheras. I’ve always loved coming here, but tonight’s experience left me shocked.
I arrived at 10:30 PM and placed my order at 10:40 PM, knowing that the store closes at 12:00 AM with the last order at 11:40 PM. But instead of the warm and welcoming service I was used to, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff.
The employees (around 2–3 people) made it very clear they didn’t want to serve us. They sighed loudly, made comments like “Aku nak balik” and “Aduh, ada orang lagi pulak masuk”, and acted as if we were a burden rather...

Coffee is great. I particularly like their coconut Spanish latte with the BOSS coffee beans. I've also tried the nasi lemak set which is alright, there's plenty of good options outside.
Place itself is very aesthetic and clean, though the bathroom paint is starting to peel. Adequate tables and chairs which are pretty comfortable for long usage. It's usually fairly quiet, but gets much busier and louder around 3-4pm.
WiFi is very good, had no issues at all. I also like this place as there are charge ports for your...
