Restoran Maria Tomyam&Westernfood — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Finally get a chance to dine in here after passing by hundreds of times. Restaurant is usually busy. Scan to order, the waiter refused to take my order. Extensive menu, from Thai to western food. Ordered nasi daging todkatri, nasi kerabu Ayam goreng, telur dadar, sup tomyam ayam and extra serving of sambal.

Nasi daging todkatri - what a funny name possibly Thai? flavorful thanks to the deep fried garlic which I love, the whole dish is dry, from the meat to the rice. Comes with small sambal and fried egg. Tiny portion for RM11.

Nasi kerabu ayam goreng - doubled fried chicken possibly to save time. Problem is overcooking - dry. Looks alike a plain dish but it’s actually tasty. Tiny portion for RM10.

Sup tomyam ayam - authentic to say the least but nit many meat. RM7

Telur dadar - had to order telur dadar because of the tiny portion. Loved it. RM2.

Sambal - tasted fresh , would be better if it’s a tad spicier. Not cheap RM0.50.

Place is without AC but well ventilated with fans. Seatings are ok with tables spread out not too close together. Service and cleanliness...
