Very friendly and attentive staffs! However food wise still need improvements, signature nasi lemak was alright, sambal is sweet and spicy but more on the spicier side, lemak rice ok got santan fragrance, rempah fried chicken has crispy skin but too bad the meat is abit dry not juicy or tender and although it is fully cooked it is stained red due to blood (didn't soak long enough to release all the blood off the chicken) 😭which is kind of a turn off.. Cantonese yuanyang ok, kueyteow is good got wokhei but the fried noodle no wokhei at all and is rather bland. Signature baiwei ice kacang, toppings too less, when ice melts the entire bowl Consist of 85% pink colored water and literally 15% of toppings only 🤣 drink water till full.. Maybe can add on more toppings... Egg tart is good, just the rim of the pastry a bit hard maybe due to long term exposure in air after baking then reheat.. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes as their menu selection is very vast.
Edit: came the next day to try breakfast food.. Signature charcoal roti bakar is over flooded with kaya! Wow! Nice! If you don't like kaya can request less less kaya la.. But bread is not as soft as I expected would be for typical old school Hainanese bread, instead it has similar texture to sandwich bread. Curry Chee Cheong Fun is good! Curry pairs really well with the roll skins. Chicken floss cheesy egg space bun also not bad, but you can make yourself at home too hahaha Gengchow teh beng also not bad, layer of gula melaka at the bottom, when mixed thoroughly it's not overly sweet just nice!
For me their drinks pastries and bread meals are better than heavy...
Read moreLet’s start about the uniqueness of this place. The tea or coffee ice, the ice the made it into cute bear which is a good concept and it is reasonable price. As for the food, nasi lemak pork slice curry, the rice so far ok but need to season it to lift up the nasi lemak taste and aroma. Lack of nasi lemak taste. Curry is good but nasi lemak sambal is out. Perhaps they need to eat the real kampung nasi lemak and improve their sambal. Nasi lemak without good sambal, the no one would order it in the next time. Dry noodle, sorry to say it is not up to the standards, no different from soy sauce noodle, burst pork ball also soso. With standard kopitiam like this, I expect the kopitiam has their own seasoning recipe for the noodle but turn out disappointed. The bun (in the picture), i forgot the name, taste is so so. Overall for the food, not that good but also not that bad. The only thing that attract me is the drink concept and the varieties foods in the menu. Perhaps I will come again to try different food to determine the food taste quality and does it worth...

Came here because of good review but totally Dissapointed. (the worst restaurant) Signature nasi lemak, sambal is bad, fried chicken no taste, small serving, given 17 peanuts - for rm19. 90. Signature braised beef noodle - oh my goodness the beef taste like few weeks ago leftover. Some of the beef taste OK some pieces maybe added on thru 'old stock'. Charcoal burger taste so so only and the French fries taste good BUT found msg (can refer my photo, can see msg crystal on the fries). Matcha tea pearl - when the drink arrival is without pearl!! The drink is not original matcha but 'chemical' taste. After we complaint only they told us is out of stock!!! Signature curry noodle at least not too bad and actually quite good. The kaya puff, siew bao and egg tart not too bad. Usually would not give so much negative comments. Not worth the price...
