Tried their food through delivery platform and in store, both was great! Im usually not the type to eat bean sprouts but this really got me finishing them!
Here's are a few items that i got
VN Milk Coffee (9/10) Tasted balanced and not diluted, slightly different from your usual coffee which is a good thing! Had to try this out due to my friend raving about how good viet coffee are.
Price was on average for a coffee.
Saigon Special Bread (10/10) As usual with their banmi, the baguette is crsipy and soft at just the right amount, it falls apart when u take a bite and doesnt break a teeth.
As for their ingredients, i believe theres ham, sausage meat slices? some egg, cucumber, meat, carrots and some mint with coriander i believe.
This tasted slightly peppery with a hint of freshness and eggyness from the eggs but all together blended so well.
Ive tried their other banmi and theyre all equally delicious as well.
-Hue style beef noodle soup (7/10) This was soooo good and spicy! Can taste a bit too salty near the end but its actually quite a big portion imo, their meat portion was not stingy, top off with 2 slices of ham slices?
this comes with sides of taugeh, lettuce and lime with some chili.
Service was good, felt welcomed and great atmosphere, love the decor as well, somehow make you feel as if youre in vietnam.
Parking can be slightly hard to find if you want to park close the the restaurant but overall its a good experience!
Can be quite pricey but defo worth a visit...
Read moreI am leaving a 5 star review because i cant leave a 4.6 or 4.7 one. I discovered this restaurant mostly because i happened to lose my way looking for another place and happend to see it open. Missing my previous trip to vietnam and enjoying pho and their bread there, i decided to give it a try. Keep in mind i have tried other restaurants and eateries serving pho and frankly none of them can come close to the taste of what you get when eating at a typical roadside stall pr eatery in vietnam itself. This place hit the taste buds for me right on the nose! The pho was perfect and came with comdiments that you can add to your noodles to adjust the flavor in terms on spiciness and so on. Their beef stew bun was terrific and the bread was crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. The stew itself was great too and i just added some extra condiments like chilli and sauce for a more preferred taste. All in all this place brought back so many fond memories of my holiday trip to vietnam and i definietly will return again! I even bought a bun to take home! Apologies for the half eaten pictures, the food was so good i couldnt stop eating! Hahaha As for establishment, place is clean nothing to rave out but a nice place to stop by and enjoy some good...
Read moreAfter a week only Malaysia, Chinese food. I decided to look for a Vietnam restaurant. Usually I never think eating Vietnamese food aboard but I used to experience in other countries and the taste was extremely delicious. Even delicious then when we ate in Vietnam. What a surprise! There are a lot of positive feed back for this restaurant, thus i decided to go here to enjoy. Phở is a very good choice for a long and tired working trip. I expected muchly for the flavor but a bit disappointed, the flavors were not the same in both from the North or the South style. Perhaps the flavor follows the local taste not for original Vietnamese. The name of restaurant “Saigon”, reminded me the flavor of the South but the actual was a bit salty. The “bánh cuốn”, the inside meat and mushroom were big, the fish source is salty. But if this style meets local people, it is good because Vietnamese people who is not a regular customers here. I see customers here mostly Chinese. The atmosphere is simple, listening Vietnamese song is good. A side dish was big thus I couldn’t try more to...
