The atmosphere & environment is very comfortable at this restaurant, giving off a modern & cozy Italian restaurant feel.

Service is fast and good.

This restaurant seems to have a wide selection of alcohol, but we didn’t drink during our visit so cannot comment on that.

As for food, my group felt dishes are hit or miss.

What we didn’t like: Caesar salad - this was a letdown to us, as the salad dressing was mayonnaise squeezed on the salad. We were expecting the dressing to be emulsified with egg yolk & including olive oil and lemon juice.

What we liked: Pork skewer dish - the pork skewer was yummy, though one person in our group comment that it could be fattier for juicier result. The accompanying salad was very refreshing (much more enjoyable than the Caesar).

Iberico pork neck - very yummy, and the chef came out and torched the dish, was quite a nice bonus if you’re here to impress your guests / date night.

Homemade coconut ice cream - we LOVED this a lot, and appreciate the restaurant for this complimentary dessert. We can taste there’s real coconut meat, and the sweetness so just right. It’s a delicious and guilt free dessert.

Side note for the chef / owner - I was asked how the pizza tasted — at the time I said I it was good, but I was a little caught off guard and didn’t properly formulate a thought at the time. I forgot the name of this particular pizza we ordered, but it was the one topped with prosciutto and bacon. I love how generously the pizza was topped with these meats, but in hindsight, I’d prefer if there were some greens (e.g. arugula) on top to balance the saltiness of the cured meats, and the crust I’d like it to be crunchier/ more baked.

Overall, my group is very happy to have found this restaurant in Melaka, a city we love a lot. Keep up...

The first time we had dinner here, there weren't many customers and all our food from the mains to desserts (creme brulee and tiramisu) were impeccable! Simply delicious and heavenly! However food took quite some time to be served so be prepared to wait a bit.

The 2nd time we made the effort to have our Christmas dinner there simply because of our wonderful experience and memories we had previously. However it was quite a disappointment. The restaurant had more than their usual dinner crowd and they didn't have the manpower to manage. Our dinner took slightly more than an hour to arrive so we were starving and the food we ordered had some hiccups. The owner cum chef was there and kudos to him, he tried his best to make amends. We appreciate his efforts very much. The food and desserts didn't quite live up to our expectations although they were good. However the creme brulee were a bit too liquid below the burnt sugar layer.

For our first experience, we were more than happy to pay the above average price. But I would not say so for our 2nd experience there. We are very thankful to the owner from the bottom of our hearts for his efforts to make amends that night. Perhaps the best time to dine there will be outside of special occasions. I would have given all 5 stars if not for the marred 2nd experience.

We hope that the owner will continue to serve impeccable and delicious food and manage his manpower better during special occasions. We hope to be here again and have the same wonderful authentic Italian food experience again.

BTW I hope the owner can make the toilet experience...

In the heart of Malacca,Case Cucina offers an exceptional culinary experience that transcends expectations. From the moment you step in, the ambiance envelops you in a blend of sophistication and comfort.

The journey began with the tantalizing aroma of the soup, setting the stage for the feast ahead. The velvety texture and harmonious flavors of the pumpkin soup hinted at the culinary expertise that awaited us.

The Truffle Pizza was a symphony of flavors. Its crispy yet tender crust adorned with a medley of earthy truffle and carefully selected cheeses transported the taste buds to new heights, leaving a lingering desire for more.

The Carbonara Pasta redefined indulgence. The rich, creamy sauce impeccably coated the al dente pasta, showcasing a flawless balance of flavors. Each bite was a revelation, an ode to Italian culinary mastery.

The Wagyu Beef stole the spotlight, a pinnacle of succulence and tenderness. Cooked to perfection, it melted in the mouth, leaving an unforgettable, savory imprint.

Beyond the culinary excellence, the impeccable service at Case Cucina elevated the experience. The staff’s attentiveness and knowledge added an extra layer of delight to the evening, enhancing every aspect of our dining affair.

In summary, Case Cucina is a haven for discerning food enthusiasts. With its divine culinary offerings, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service, it stands as a testament to exceptional dining. A must-visit for anyone seeking a gastronomic journey...

RM55 for a 2 course set that consists of started, the bread; soup of the day, pumpkin soup; side, in house made wedges; main, pork parmigiana and a drink. RM44 for a la carte Hawaiian ham pizza. The whole dining experience is just marvellous, waitress and attentive and food is actually served in a timely manner. The pizza is just amazing! Thin crust filled with generous amount of toppings and fe taste is just wonderful. Pork parmigiana on the other hand is well done. Didn’t expect that in comes with such a huge size! The protein itself is thick too, however as a Penang Lang that use to heavy seasoning, it tasted a little bit bland to my palate. Nonetheless less it’s well done. Pumpkin soup is rich in flavour and buttery smooth. Chef told us that they harvested the pumpkin, stored it for at least 3 month only to be served on the table. Reason being that pumpkin is best serve after storing some time. The potato wedges is an amazing surprise, didn’t expect it to be so soft! Well seasoned and the texture is unlike you had in KFC or other place. Chef triple boil the potato to achieve such texture. Also the chef is just a bubbly person. He approach each table to asked for feedback and he even waive a table mains cause the diner felt like the dish is not to their standard. Chef even belanja us their in house made coconut ice cream, and you can really tell that the quality is top notch. Would definitely come back 10/10, recommend to call ahead for reservation to avoid disappointment.

We tried their set menu and had pork and fish. Interior was well decorated and cosy and had very nice ambience of dining together with the red table cloth. Welcome bread with homemade sauce. Bread was warm and goes very well with the sauce. Set came with one non-alcoholic drink and we had the Just Relax and sunset . Drinks were serve after the first course. Soup was beautifully plated and before we were done with the soup and bread (it pairs well) , main course was ready to be served. Main are without carbs , just meat and vegetables which is good if you are not looking for a heavy dinner. Barramundi 5/5 , it was so good we had an ala-cart second serving. Pork 4/5 . The fish overshadowed the pork in this caste but it was still well. Might help to have more sauce on the pork. Dessert - 5/5 coconut ice cream ( it was really good) Overall the dining experience was excellent and has the fine dining experience. At the price point the set menu is value for money. Will look forward to trying their other items on the menu.
