Not sure how they would be able to survive with such overpriced food and not so tasty food. Their environment is a typical kopitiam so nothing to shout about except for aircon.
-Nyonya Laksa More oil than santan. This is not nyonya laksa imo. Those who commented "best nyonya laksa in Melaka" has not tasted a real good nyonya laksa in Melaka. Low quality taupok with smell. This is at best a RM 7-8 food but it is priced at RM16.9 which is super crazy.
-Nasi Lemak But rice is a fail. Not fragrant at all and very hard. Worse than a normal white rice. Sambal is also a fail, not tasty at all. Chicken's taste is OK, not superb but the portion honestly shocked me. Priced at RM16.9 lol.
For reference the famous village park nasi lemak with chicken in KL is only RM12 plus if I remember correctly and their chicken is whole leg including thigh.
This one is a small drumstick with no meat in the middle (I kid you not it's empty in the middle of the drumstick where there should have been a lot of meat). I honestly suspect they removed the meat to use at somewhere else lmao.
This is at best a RM8 dish as well.
-Popiah Priced at RM14.8. Lol, this is such a joke. No wonder there's no customers when we were having our meals there. Delicious popiah can be had at less than RM6.
Only water fish would go there for the 2nd time. It's an insult to a proper nyonya eatery because it is an eatery that uses the "nyonya" name to jack up the price but in reality it does not have even a hint of nyonya taste at all. Also nyonya food does not equal expensive price - plenty of authentic nyonya food at reasonable prices with better environment than...
