I bought combo mandy rice (lamb & chicken), shawarma lamb & lamb cheese, magherita & pepperoni pizza a day before Eid. Overall, the food are all decent and worth buying. The sharwarma is nice, portion is generous and juicy. As their expertise are of middle east, their pizza's are average in taste and quaity. Dry and bland for me. Ada room for improvement. I am an Arabic food fanatic and i have tried many around KL, Selangor, JB, Penang & Melaka.. So personally, their Mandy is not the best but yet still tasty to eat. If you're in Melaka looking for Mandy rice..then this is where you should go, as the rest around Melaka, most are quite dissapointing. You can also try at Hanaa Al Masyhur which owns by the same family too..Apart from that, Hadramawt palace bukit baru pun fine to have a go.. @Bread & Olive, your mandy rice and chicken ada room for improvement. Service Excellent 👍👍👍 the order taken in less than 10 minutes and the waitress even recommend from menu bestseller and value buy. Not take long for order to arrive from kitchen piping hot and warm our hungry tummy. Food Mandy rice talam: Superb taste the rice can eat on its own. (it say 4 - 5 pax) but our family with 4 small kids so more than enough. Adult 3. Pizza: 👍👍👍 but if u compare to italian pizza like apple to orange (arabian pizza) Shawarma: the fillings tenderly made meat with chips, veggie fit for king. Drinks: can order jug if u want, many to choose. Ambience: Relaxing, super clean and smells nice. Toilet is super clean also. The food is good, no doubt, but one of the waiter is very rude, when we asked why our order didn’t serve after 30mins, eventually found out they missed the order. Moreover, it is a pre-order food list given to them 3days in advanced and we are the first customer reached their restaurant at lunch time. The waiter also show black face when he served Hummus, and we asked for bread, he said very rudely, he thought we already given the bread. And unwillingly to give us another. In fact, they didn’t serve any bread yet. We also clarified with them hummus only served with 1 bread. If more, have to order. Pricey if hummus only served with 1 bread, and it’s not reasonable. I went there few times before, we knew hummus earlier are served with unlimited bread. But maybe cost increase, just 1 single bread.
