A Divine Culinary Experience – Coffee & Local Delights That Will Ruin All Others For You!
Step aside, ordinary breakfasts—Kopi 434 in Melaka serves a gastronomic masterpiece that will make your taste buds sing with joy and your heart weep with satisfaction!
Let’s start with their Nasi Lemak—an absolute flavour bomb. The fragrant coconut rice, fluffy and decadent, is paired with a mind-blowingly good sambal that strikes the perfect balance between sweet, spicy, and savoury. Every bite is a heavenly explosion of textures—crispy anchovies, perfectly roasted peanuts, and that golden, creamy boiled egg that rounds everything off like a chef’s kiss.
Then, there’s the Beehoon—a dish so deceptively simple yet so insanely delicious, you’ll wonder what kind of wizardry they infused into it. Each strand is delicately coated with umami-rich seasoning, with just the right amount of wok hei that makes you close your eyes and let out a satisfied sigh after every bite.
But the showstopper? The fried bread sticks with Gula Melaka-infused kaya. OH. MY. WORD. This is pure breakfast ecstasy. The crispy, golden sticks shatter in your mouth, revealing their pillowy soft center, while the kaya—a luscious, velvety nectar of coconut and palm sugar perfection—coats your tongue in pure, sinful indulgence. The Gula Melaka infusion takes it to another level, adding a deep, caramelised richness that will haunt your cravings for days.
Paired with their legendary Kopi Muar 434, this is not just breakfast—it’s a soul-nourishing, life-changing food experience that will make you question everything you knew about local Malaysian cuisine. Do yourself a favour—run, don’t walk, to Kopi 434. You can thank me later.

Compared to their original Muar outlet, this is much more updated and modern but still have the old school charm.
Good to hang out with friends and to have a informal business meeting.
The nasi ayam kari and nasi rendang ayam I had was disappointing taste wise. I just wish they could do more with the sauce. I have better curry and rendang than this.
Kaya butter on white bread toast was good and compliment with the savory sweet soft boiled eggs. Truly Malaysian staple breakfast.
1960s elephant iced coffee is just the perfect drink to cool down. Not too sickening sweet nor taste bland as the ice melts into the drink.
100% elephant bean kopi o iced, without milk, is highly recommended as compare to the 1960s iced coffee with milk. One could taste the smoky aroma of the coffee. I know that the beans was perfectly roasted with sugar, salt and margarine.
Staff was quick to response and friendly.
I must praise for the outlet to clear the table quickly after the customer left. Also the rest room was well maintained cleaned which I appreciate...
Read moreJust had brunch at Kopi 434, Melaka branch. The food was generally good — I had nasi lemak with chicken rendang. While the rendang didn’t quite have that authentic kampung (village-style) flavour I was hoping for, it was still tasty. What really stood out for me was their variety of toasted bread – delicious and nicely done!
The atmosphere inside was quite lively, a bit noisy as all tables were occupied and many customers were dining in. It has a cozy, upgraded kampung-style vibe, with comfortable seating and unique wall decorations. You can choose to sit indoors with air-conditioning or enjoy the outdoor seating area if you prefer fresh air.
Parking is convenient with plenty of spaces around, though some may require MBMB parking payment on weekdays (free on public holidays). The wait for food took about 20 minutes, so some patience is needed during busy hours.
Overall, a nice spot for brunch in Melaka if you’re into local food in a slightly more...
