Cold Curry & Pricey Mala — Disappointed Today at the Food Court . What we ordered today: 🍛 Curry Chicken Rice with Egg – RM8.90 As curry chicken lovers, this one really let us down. The rice was hot, the egg looked good… but the curry chicken and gravy were ice-cold. That completely ruined the dish. . Dear stall owner, if you're reading this: Saving on gas by skipping basic reheating isn't smart cost control—it’s a slow way to lose loyal customers. Hot rice with cold curry? No matter how cheap, we won’t order it again. When the main component fails, everything else falls apart. . 🌶️ Mala Dry Pot – RM24 The stall advertised “RM1 per stick,” so we expected something more affordable. But the final bill shocked us—RM24! And the so-called squid? Shrunken beyond recognition. Maybe it feels justified to the owner, but to us, it felt like a joke. Never again. . 🥣 Sweet Wheat Porridge – RM5 Another disappointment. The wheat wasn’t soaked long enough—still hard, and the texture felt off. Watery, bland, and forgettable. . Will we order these dishes again? No. Once is enough. . Will we return to this food court? Yes—there are still a few gems left to explore. We’ve already tried about 50% of the stalls! . Sometimes a bad meal teaches you more than a good one. Here’s hoping the rest of our food court journey ends on a better note. . . JSE@20250707 . 📅 2025-05-10 Wat Tan Hor (RM10): Surprisingly good. Would reorder. Ginger Mee Sua (RM10): Slightly salty, but still a worthy pick. Ramen + Pancake (RM18): Pancake was too floury; ramen felt like kids’ food—not value for adults. Claypot Rice (RM12): Extremely slow service. Arrived last with no apology. Seller seemed indifferent. Wantan Soup (RM7/8): Light and comforting. A frequent favorite. Drinks (Coffee & Chrysanthemum Tea): Consistently good and worth coming back for. . 📅 2024-12-26 Bak Kut Teh (RM16): Decent but forgettable. Green Curry with Rice (RM12): Disappointing—didn’t resemble green curry at all. . 💬 Overall: A hit-or-miss food court. Some dishes are solid staples, others we’d...

Read moreOverall this food court is designed well with proper ventilation and many food variety. The bad experience with the food court was there were many flies around.
While dining, a fly went into the drink. Complaint to drink vendor about this issue. The drink vendor told us that no exchange of the drink as it was already half glass drank. But the issue was due to the flies in the food court condition that required the exchange of drink. It's not that we purposely catch a fly and throw into the drink just for the purpose for exchanging a new drink. Irresponsible food court drink vendor.
Ordered kg lapan wan tan mee. Taste was simple and so so. Fried rice and wan tan hor from one of the corner stall. Fried rice was decent good however the ikan bilis were slightly salty. Didn't really like the hor fan noodle used in the wan tan hor as it has strong...
