Mix & Grilled Cafe — Restaurant in Malacca

I arrived here around 2000H & the place was already packed with people. The environment it self was not really comfortable. You’ll have to either sit inside where it’s warm & toasty not to mention noisy or on the parking space in front of the establishment in hoping to catch the gentle night breeze. Since this place usually packed with people, some waiting are to be expected (in my case around 15 minutes). This place really suitable for groups because they offer those big portion mix in a “talam/dulang” where you can choose to fill it with grilled lamb/chicken/beef, meet balls, fish & chips, fries, coleslaw, bolognese or carbonara spaghetti. I got myself a Mix C which consist of grilled beef, meet balls, spaghetti carbonara, coleslaw with some fries & an iced lime to wash it all down. Upon first bite, all of it tasted exactly like the other mediocre western place you’ve ever been. It doesn’t taste bad but not that great either. Kinda average if you ask me. My order only cost me RM 24.90 exact. The taste can probably be improved overtime but this place really wins big in price &...

First time trying here, saw many people come this restaurant. Overall the chicken chop is good. The sauce not into my liking taste much, but still okay. But the only thing I disappointed was the experience here. Which I choose to eat indoor instead outdoor space. During my eating, I saw small thing moving towards my plate. And when I looked closely, it was a small cockroach. I removed it. But as while I eating, few small cockroach moving here and there on my table. I was so shocked. I moved to another table, but that table at corner also got cockroach, and more big size. Then i move to different table. Idk how to react on this experience. If just one, i consider maybe coincidence. But got small and big. Just hope that this restaurant team will ensure...

The food was good but not that great. But the price is cheaper than most places. Although, you have to wait for most an hour just to get your food when peak time. I went there when it was peak time around 11pm to 12am for some take away. My food is ready after waited for 40 minutes but no one send it to us. Only after I asked them, they notice our food was on their table but no one was cared enough to ask or send it. The waiter was not alert enough but maybe because it was busy that time. But they should be used to it tho....
