My family and I had dinner at this restaurant during our short staycation in Port Dickson. It is conveniently located by the roadside and easy to find, especially with the help of GPS.
I noticed many reviews recommending their grilled fish, but I was a bit disappointed as the fish we ordered was too dry. I’m not sure if this was due to the type of fish we chose since we opted for something different instead of the commonly used stingray. However, the other dishes we tried were quite good, and I would rate them above average. Anyway, their prawn otak-otak is a must try!
In terms of pricing, I found it very affordable. We spent around RM200 for seven dishes, five of which contained seafood. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, including a special teppanyaki menu. Unfortunately, with only five adults in our group, we couldn't try as many dishes as we would have liked. I would definitely consider returning if I visit Port Dickson again to explore more of their menu.
Last but not least, the another reason that I feel good with this restaurant is also because of the restaurant is decorated with some old goodies from my grandparents' generation, which also evokes memories...
Read more踩雷了, come here for dinner cos I see good review on XHS.
Ordered oyster sauce choydam, oatmeal shrimp and grilled string ray. But I felt kinda scammed by the restaurant cos we are just 2 person having dinner, and we asked the waitress the spicy grilled fish sauce is it very spicy, and she recommended us to try both sauce together, and when the grilled fish was served, it was huge, and we couldn’t finished it, and it cost RM56 for it. It’s not about the pricing, but at least they should let the consumer know that if we wan to hv 2 flavour together the potion would be big. Not quite honest to me I could say, and it will be my first and last time here.
Oyster sauce vege 3/10 taste soso, still acceptable.
Oatmeal shrimp 5/10 Taste is good, but it more flour then the actual shrimp in it.
Grilled stingrays 1.5/10 It’s said “grilled fish” in the menu, but it came out more like a steam fish to me. The spicy sauce was a big Nono for me, the non spicy one...
Read moreIt is around 35minutes away from our hotel Lexus . But it's worth the trip. A little cosy very local / village style chinese restaurant. Everything we ordered was good! Big portion and waiting time was not long! Boss was very kind and friendly even took photo for me when he sees me taking photos of their antique. If you are an antique lover u will love their setting.
Best dish was their grill fish ! Go for mix platter u can try both non spicy and spicy! We love the non spicy because it's different! Not the same from where we are from. And it's super good. Price is reasonable too. Toilet only 1 cubicle but clean!
