Read morePersonally i feel the food is fantastic. Tastes good, and do not skimp on the portion. I recommend pottalam briyani, chapathi roll, kothu parotta.
Things i would ask the owner to improve on: service and cleanliness. The waiters need to be a bit more proactive. Meaning, if there are tables that need clearing, they need to clear at top priority, sink that needs unclogging or cleaning, to get to it. Sometimes the shop is clean, sometimes it can be quite dirty with tissue or food on the ground. Another example is when we came in a group of 7 and there was only 2 tables joined together that was available. The waiter looked at us like he was expecting us to do something to solve the lack of tables. We had to ask other patrons if they could provide us the table which is something the waiter should proactively do to maximise the tables occupied in the shop.

Read moreThought of giving this store a try - seeing that it had less people (thinking service would be fast) - boy was I wrong. Slow service (Despite only ordering a few appams - in which the waiter only decided to tell me its sold out after a plate of my first appam. He shouldve told me earlier instead of making me wait for that second plate of appam. A piece of very visible used tissue on the table beside us -- unhygienic. The waiter had no intention of cleaning it away until we told them to since it was an eyesore whilst eating. Food : Appam was bad, and just look at the coconut milk 🤣 It has seen better days 🤣 Thanks to the appam tragedy - it made me not wanna order the rest of the food on the menu eventhough I was hungry.
Otherwise, ambience was great, it was cozy, beautiful mural painting of famous indian actors. Background music was just nice - soothing.
