Yee Kee Beef Noodles • Seremban 2 — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Nothing puts me off more than arrogant service at a restaurant. This comes from the manager who is clearly unsuited for the hospitality industry. She was not happy bcos I did not order the value meal. The fact is there is no value except if u take their dessert which is then overall only 10% off. The dessert is not to my liking and unnecessary for breakfast. Also they stated in the menu u have a choice of noodle which I then enquired. Again she was not happy bcos they will cook lai mein if we don't specify. So it seems service means as long as its her way everything is fine. Customers seem to be a nuisance to her job. Also as long as its Cantonese she will not answer you. The food is average and over rated bcos there are now better beef noodle everywhere and a wide variety such as Vietnamese Beef Noodle and Thai Beef Noodle. Even for local beef noodle, this is no longer a stand out. Someone also thought it was a good idea to have a cow field as a wallpaper decor with cows looking at you as you dine in their meat and inner organs. Will I come back...

Yee Kee is an established beef noodle restaurant in Seremban. I've eaten at their main restaurant in town but this was the first time at this branch in Seremban 2.

We were here early in the morning after they just opened. I realised later that this is not a good thing since the beef soup and beef parts would still be in the process of cooking. Perhaps lunch time or later in the day would be a better idea since the broth have had a longer time to brew and have deeper and richer flavour. Having said that, the beef broth in the Beef Noodle Soup was still fairly satisfactory. The beef meat, tendons and tripe were all well cooked and tender.

The better option in the morning may be the Dry Style Beef Noodle which came with a dollop of thick beef gravy, peanuts and pickled vegetables besides the well cooked beef was quite good.
