Toraichi Izakaya — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

We have been wanting to come to this place a few times but never made it. But on 3/1/25 we decided to make it a point to drive down from PD and we were super happy we finally made it! So I rang that afternoon to have my reservation made. As there were only 2 of us, the person assured us that we could just walk in. And so we did at 5.30pm and the place was a little quiet . But the situation was a 360 change when we walked out at 7.30pm. The Resto was fully taken up! And its not hard o understand why. Now, before I placed my orders, I asked this very polite waitress , ZhiXing what to go for as it was our first time there. She pretty much guided us and we went on to place our orders. Everything was Awesome is all I can say! The gyozas especially!!! I only ordered one portion (3 gyozas) and when we sank our teeth into them, I ordered another 3 portions straight away! ( pics shown are 3 portions. First portion was polished off before we knew it!) That’s how good they are, so well pan fried with that crispy outside and so succulent with juice oozing out as we bit into each and every one of them. We enjoyed EVERY Dish we ordered and just wished we had bigger stomachs for desserts. ( Truth to be told, for every review written , one dessert or sake will be given free. I was a lil skeptical when ZhiXing first told me that cos that got me thinking if the other positive reviews were legit. Not until we tasted for ourselves that this review was so Well Deserved! (We didnt even have our free dessert cos we were so stuffed! ) Keep up the wonderful job you guys at Toraichi! And thank you for your excellent service ZhiXing! ( I hope we still get our free dessert when we next visit. 😜) which won’t be long I am sure! Guys, if you are in Seremban area, this place is worth a visit. Please go support them! Limited food and beverage choices. Price wise on slight higher end but for me it was reasonable. Quality-wise was outstanding. Taste-wise great especially the ramen that i had, which is their specialty.

Few limited/seasonal menu written on blackboard near the counter. Can customise your ramen to your likings (upgrade & add-on). Their desert menu mainly focuses on ice cream especially matcha, which was delicious. Refillable filtered water and green tea.

The cleanliness was maintained properly. Excellent customer services. Not sure on their toilets/restrooms as we didnt get the chance to use.

My only issue was the lightings, not a huge fan as the restaurant was a bit dark (warm lightings) especially for the camera but i do get their intentions to keep the atmosphere warm and as aunthentic as possible.

Can opt for membership if interested. Payment can be done either by cash, debit/credit card or qr payment. Right infront of Azuma restaurant. Free parkings but was slightly hard to found. So take it into account especially during peak hours. Recommended and will...

Having an unpleasant experience dinner on Mother days.

I ordered 4 Ramens, 1 Fried Pork Curry rice, some grill snack. Ramens was serve in shortwhile and the taste was really nice.

However, the rest food was not ready even we finish all Ramen. I have ask the waiter twice to check my food. The waiter say will check for me and sorry for waiting as grill will take some time.

After wait again for 20 mins, only another waiter come apologize to us due to kitchen missed out to cook our food due to the order paper was drop on kitchen and now they preparing our food and will rdy in shortwhile...Funny reason ever hear. But ok la...human mistake due to crowded.

Here i give a thumblike to the female supervisor. She did a very good job. She offer us ice cream for apologize on delay.

After wait gain 10 mins, female supervisor come approach us and inform the fried pork was done but japanese rice insufficient. Rice was in boiling and need wait another 15mins......WHAT !!!!

We don't want wasting our time anymore and...
