The Indonesian selections were very good. Tried the Nasi Lemak Ayam berempah with 4 types of sambal - basmati rice, good sambal not too sweet and crispy Ayam gorend berempah, Nasi Ayam Bertutu Bali was something very different - flavourful with it's blend of spices n aromatics, very delicious and served with Indonesian style chips and sambal penyet. It's definitely something I'd order again! The nasi with Sambal Tiger Prawns was quite simple but the prawns were big and fresh, matches perfectly with the sambal. Lastly the Pecal was refreshing, crunchy and savory with a nice peanut sauce. Overall we were pleasantly surprised with the food. Service was polite but lacked product knowledge. They needed more training on food and drinks in the menu and should learn to explain it better to the customers. Plates after eating were not cleared off even though we were the only 2 tables occupied that time. I had to indicate to them to clear it. Also service staff should be trained to upsell the food n drinks. They stood at the corner instead of seeing that Customer were done eating to clear the plates. And they should ask customers if they would like some tea or coffee or...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by the nasi lemak here — it’s a great example of how thoughtful presentation and flavor can elevate a classic dish.
The rice came beautifully wrapped in banana leaf, which added a lovely aroma that complemented the dish perfectly. The highlight for me was the four types of sambal, each offering a different level of spiciness and its own unique flavor profile. It was a fun and delicious way to explore the heat spectrum while still enjoying balance in taste.
Everything on the plate was well put together — nothing felt overwhelming or underwhelming. It’s clear that effort was put into both the preparation and presentation. Overall, a satisfying and well-executed take on nasi lemak. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy variety and appreciate the finer details in a...
Read moreUnfortunately out first visit turns out to be extremely bad. Placed out orders about 7.30pm++. We ordered 2 main food (rice), satay and fries and received 1 dish after about 30 mins and the other about 45 mins later and that too a wrong order. When asked, we were told to wait and will take more time. Satay never arrived. Frustrated with this poor service, we cancelled the initial order (which was send wrongly) and satay. There was not a word of sorry from the staffs. Not a single point to justify that we will return to this place again, let alone the unfriendly staffs. I am not taking fasting month as an excuse. No pictures to add shows how frustrated and...
