Me and my wife came here last night to grab dinner. Parking was very easy to secure.

The waiter that took our order could only understand Malay and that may pose a problem for non-Malay-speaking tourist. The only way to go round it is asking for the English-speaking manager to help you take your order to the kitchen.

Their honey-lemon and orange juice were freshly made and they were heavenly. We ordered fries as a side dish, rib-eye steak with sour cream and marciano lamb ragu.

Fries were straight cut ones, could use a bit of salt. We requested our ribeye steak to be cooked medium well but it came out well done and dry. Also, the steak dish was supposed to come with baked potatoes. We had to point it out to the manager before we were served 2 halves of a baked potato on a white plate. The marciano lamb ragu was probably the only dish worth ordering again in the future.

Also, it was quite difficult to get the staff attention, considering one was at the counter who appeared to be scrolling through his phone and the other was perpetually in the kitchen after taking our order. The manager was more accessible and approachable than the waiters themselves.

Overall, is this restaurant worth coming back to? For me and my partner, we would have to be hard pressed to return here. We came here in the first place because of the stellar reviews left behind by past diners. However, we can't muster a justification to provide this restaurant an overall...

We came here for dinner. It wasn’t too crowded during dinner time, which we initially thought was understandable since it’s a bar restaurant and might not attract many Muslim customers.

The ambiance inside was nice and cozy, but unfortunately, the staff weren’t very friendly. Our food and drinks were served quite quickly, which was a plus.

However, things took a turn when my friend ordered a cocktail called “Sex on Wheels.” At first, everything looked fine, but after stirring the drink to mix the syrup at the bottom, we noticed a lot of ants floating to the surface. It was honestly very off-putting and completely ruined our dining experience — we couldn’t even enjoy the main dishes anymore.

We informed the staff, but at first, they insisted we couldn’t cancel the order and only offered to replace it with another same drink. However, since the drink already left a bad impression, we didn’t want a replacement. Only after we firmly requested not to have another drink did the staff discuss among themselves and eventually came back to say they would cancel the drink and not charge us.
