Food: I was there with my family of 5. We had the following: Strawberry scones Chicken mushroom pie Blueberry cheesecake Teh tarik (hot, less sugar) Teh tarik float (hot, less sugar)

The strawberry scones are less than ideal in my opinion. It is harder and doesn't really have the fragrance of butter compared to a normal scone. Besides, it's shape is a triangular one, seems like they make a large dough and cut it up like a pizza before putting it in an oven. The chicken mushroom pie is ok-ish. The crust and the filling tastes ok, probably too salty for those that are most used to a blander diet. My only complaint is that the fat used to make the pie crust is probably some sort of plant butter that leaves a coating in my mouth for a while. The blueberry cheesecake is nice, not too sweet, plenty cheesy, and the texture is sufficiently smooth. The teh tarik (with or without ice cream float) is ok, not the one with the best tea and evaporated milk, but acceptable. Though, be prepared that everything is more expensive than normal given that this is a tourist spot.

Service: Not sure what I can say here given that it is self service. I guess the only comment that I can give is that the worker there worked efficiently so the ordering process and food collection process was fast and easy. If you ordered something that takes a longer time to prepare, they will bring the food to you later when it's done.

Atmosphere: Only half of the shop is able to view the tea plantation, and it's usually crowded with people both with a table and those that just want to have a look at the nice view. So, don't expect the place to be romantic or quiet or have a personal space if your table is right next to the plantation view. Other than that, be prepared for the specialty of Cameron Highlands, flies, lots of flies. 😂
