Had high hopes for this new branch of Old Forest, the old one being at Jalan Beserah. The ambience was fantastic, with the retro interior matching the vibe of its colonial shophouse exterior. Food is lame. Half-hearted with minimal effort place in while trying to get the most profit suck out of clueless customer.
Meehoon Siam was so so only. Rendang that comes with it have so much oil that I can deep fry chicken with it Curry chicken of the nasi Pandan looks premade or microwaved with weird texture chicken and potato. Nasi Pandan now comes in two color. white with extra complementary disappointing green sauce splash on top.
Hygiene is also problematic. While finishing the food is torturing enough. If you go into the toilet you probably wouldn't last and surrender... Staff hygiene also need some improvement...
Will never come...
