Restoran Delight 你来冷气饭店 — Restaurant in Pahang

Take a path less traveled to Temerloh one day and explore the food scene in this town located in the center of Pahang state. My fond memory was stopping by to eat chicken chop in a restaurant located below a hotel in the 80s & 90s everytime my dad drove us back to Kuantan during school holidays.

Apart from that, I'm not that familiar with this town anymore after I grew older - and the fact that we used different route to head back to Kuantan.

Delight Restaurant still has that old school vibes to it when we entered the restaurant for lunch. It was introduced by a friend and we decided to check it out.

◾Deep fried tilapia with salted egg sauce - they fillet the fish meat leaving the bone still attached to the head; deep fried everything and then played the fish after stir frying with salted egg sauce. Beautifully presented, sweet & savoury + spicy & crunchy dish. ◾Stuffed meatballs with salted egg - not many restaurants actually still serve this dish due to the tedious process and the long time to cook this. However, this restaurant still feature this item in the menu which made me a happy boy. ◾Taufu Egg - one of my favourite dish where I can enjoy 2-in-1 items in the form of fried egg laid on top of taufu. Break the egg yolk and scoop everything into the mouth.

Everything tastes old school and delicious. It's already in my permanent fixture whenever I go...

There were 4 of us and me being the only odd one being a vegetarian. Yet they had prepared great homely tasting and quality food. Their fried mushroom was awesome. My non veg friends feedback their food home quality.

Their ambience is a simple neat setup just like dining quietly and tranquilly at home.

The hospitality very warm managed by family kids as the front office and parents as the back office :)

Felt like dining hosted by family members with full of love and care via their warmth and quality of food.

Price to is very very reasonable.

Overall was good feeling and super satisfied and happy we stopped...
