Conveniently located opposite Kuantan City Mall, this place is a gem. I would have ordered a lot more dishes if I wasn't traveling solo. I ordered BBQ stingray with sambal and ladies fingers or okra, boiled cockles (see hum) serve with Thai style chilli and a mangr sago ice dessert to beat the heat. The seafood is definitely fresh, given that Kuantan is a coastal city it would been a big let down if it wasn't fresh. The stingray was done nicely. Light crisp on the outside, moist and soft on the inside. The cockles were cooked al Dante too. All cockles went down my tummy with non going bad (this is a little phobia when you get bad cockles). To top is off, the mango sago ice warded off the heat and balanced the heavy meal. All in less than RM40 is quite a good deal. Will highly recommend this place! Definitely a revisit when I'm in...

If you have to, order from the corner store slightly hidden at the corner, the dishes...
Read moreA small food court located across the road from East Coast Mall. Surprisingly good and reasonably priced.
The petai fried rice at RM18 has a lot of pork and petai in it. Sauce is a bit sweet but so good.
The juicy and fresh orchien, large siham, appetising grill stingray and lala soup are all awesome dishes from the Ikan Bakar stall.
Service from both stalls are fast and friendly.
Though the place is a bit old, it is surprisingly tidy and well kept.
