This is honestly one of the best café experiences I’ve ever had. Huge shout-out to Nick, the waiter at Luth Cafe. He is incredibly polite, responsible, and helpful. He’s also attentive, cheerful, patient, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You can really tell that he takes his work seriously and puts his heart into giving customers the best experience. People like him truly make the whole experience feel extra special.

Now let’s talk about the food and drinks… I absolutely loved the roti bakar, it was soft, warm, and perfectly done. But the real star of the show was the Matcha Latte made by Nick. NO JOKE, this is the first time in my life I’ve experienced a PERFECT matcha latte. Smooth, rich, and balanced. I’d give it 1000 out of 100 if I could!! The latte art on the matcha, also done by Nick, was also beautifully crafted and I thought it looked amazing ;)

The boss is super friendly, and the environment is clean, calm, and cozy, the kind of place you just want to stay and relax in.

Highly recommend this gem. I’m already looking forward to my...

The museum nearby closes for a break from 1 to 2 pm. I arrived around 12, so I managed to explore part of it and plan to continue later. Luckily, there’s a cozy café just outside the museum where I can chill in the meantime. I really like the library-inspired wooden decor. It gives off a warm, inviting vibe. The male staff here are super friendly and efficient.

I ordered the Gula Kabung latte (a traditional palm sugar syrup) for RM 14, and the staff told me they use Farm Fresh milk, which is a nice touch. I’m tempted to try their pies too… they look incredibly good. One suggestion though: I hope they add more seating for solo visitors or couples. Something like long stools would make it easier without taking up too much space.

Oh, and their meal prices aren’t bad actually. You can bring your family for lunch here after exploring the museum:

Nasi Lemak: RM 9.00 Roti Bakar: RM 6.00 Pulut Kuning with Chicken Rendang: RM 10.95 Beef Quiche / Cottage Pie / Chicken Pie: RM 16.90 Parmesan Beef or Salmon & Spinach: RM 12.90 Jalapeno...

The cafe is undeniably aesthetic, with a cozy setup and bookshelves that make the space feel warm and inviting. I came here really looking forward to enjoying a good cup of coffee in such a nice ambience.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t that great. We ordered lattes, but it tasted slightly burnt, so we couldn’t really enjoy the flavour notes. On top of that, I was told that “professional cameras” are not allowed but phones are fine. Honestly, that doesn’t make much difference, especially when I only wanted to take a simple coffee shot at my table as I already saw the no photography signage. (I don’t even take photos at the shelves!) I respect their rules, but it would have been nice to know the reason behind it.

It’s a lovely spot to hang out, but for me, the coffee quality and the restriction didn’t quite match the vibe the place is trying to...
