Restoran Zheng Ji — Restaurant in Pahang

Just three shops from Bees western restaurant is Restaurant Zheng Ji. Looks like the only restaurant serving Chinese styled BBQ meats in Bkt Tinggi village.

The BBQ meat stall is managed by an Indonesian helper, who chops, prepares and apportion each order accordingly. Considering this restaurant's obscured village location their BBQ meats are acceptably good.

Additionally, bak-kut-teh and economy rice are also served here. However, I did not get the chance to sample both the said offerings as I was patronising the BBQ meat stall.

In my opinion, this place could do with a little makeover in order for a more comfortable and enjoyable dining...

This was our 2nd choice place for lunch. 1st choice was up in Bentong town itself but couldn't find any parking along the narrow hilly roads of Bentong. The noodles and the roast duck were decently tasty and the ice coffee was kaw enough. They had a full selection of hanging roast meets to choose from. There was also chap fun available at the shop. Roasted Ducks Rice, Wanton Noodles, Roasted Pork Rice, Char Siew Rice taste not good at all, normal white rice which is half cooked, all the dishes are cold, salty sauce and salty soup. Prepared and sold by foreigners. Bah Kut Teh taste and quality dropped tremendously compared to few years ago where every stalls are owned and food prepared by locals.
