Sun Fong Restaurant — Restaurant in Pahang

My first time trying this place and I can say it's quite good. They serve a variety of chinese dishes and you can see there's lots of seafood offerings. First I tried their Fish Fillet in Mantou. It's pretty good. Mantou is soft and the fish is crispy, skewed more on the sweeter side. A good start as an appetizer. A must try. Then I tried a Taiwanese favourite the "San Bei Chi" or 3 Cup Chicken. It's got the right taste. Sweet, salty and mildly spicy. But here's the thing, instead of Sweet Basil they use curry leaves instead. Interesting combination. Next is the Tofu with Minced Pork. Not bad. Overall food is good but it begins to get pricey once you start ordering seafood. Nevertheless still...

We have reached the restaurant at 6:45pm and the tables inside with air-conditioners were reserved for 7:30pm but still they did not allow us to sit in the air-conditioning room. After we finished our dinner at 7:30pm the tables are still empty inside the air-conditioned room. When we asked what are the recommended food, then the way the boss replied was so sarcastic and yet he also asked us need not refer to the menu cause we will sure indecisive. As customers are we not even having our rights to browse through the menu? Food wise nothing to shout about just the fish bun is special and recommended...

My in laws are in town tonight. So brought them out to makan. It's also my father in law's birthday on the weekend. So we celebrated early in Kuantan. Ordered cake from Sweet Time, which is excellent as usual. However my wife had some problem w the boss of this restaurant who threw a hissy fit. Regardless of what happened, that isn't a nice way to talk to your customers. Also, you have no respect for my family. Since I have ordered food n do not want to cause a scene, we just ate. But I won't patronise this...
