Food here is mediocre at best. The recommended coconut curry prawns is not flavourful. I didn't like the curry at all. Specialty tofu dish is basically few pieces of japanese tofu on steamed eggs and slices of overcooked abalone mushrooms. The only thing nice is the steamed egg which was silky and soft. Marmite chicken dish was disappointing.its way too wet and flavour was on point. Stir fried mixed beans with belacan was so so. There is no wok hei at all! Even the colour of the dish is so uninspiring. The worst dish was the steamed garoupa. The fish is not fresh. And the soy sauce is so diluted it is bland. Best Chinese restaurant in Kuantan! Owner personally looks after the place and helps you order. Each dish was superb and a wonderful burst of beautiful flavors. We didn't think they'll be open on a Sunday at 230pm but they were- very lucky for us.

The garoupa steamed with curry had such an amazing taste. Fish was fresh. So was the prawns - and this time , though it was curry- a different flavor. The cili fried chicken was something I have never tried at any other Chinese restaurant. Highly recommended. Super happy. Will be back again for sure.

Restaurant's specialty: Coconut Prawn Curry Really goooooood 🤤 The whole coconut is served hot with huge juicy prawns in thick flavourful curry gravy. the coconut flesh is so soft like eating fish curry after all the prawns were eaten! 😋 Salted egg squid was superb. Instead of calamari rings, springy fleshy octupus-looking tenticles was served. Really tasty too! Reasonably priced, good portion.

Haitian is easy to find, quite near the city centre. Tables well spaced out, airy and covered place. Lots of parking available for early dinner (went on Monday at 6pm). So glad to find this place on Google Maps when I was looking for Chinese restaurants...
