James Foo Western Food — Restaurant in Penang

We ordered 5 dishes(one being the chicken cordon bleu-FC3) but our waiter made a mistake and put FC4 instead of FC3 on his order paper.

Another staff(black shirt) resolved the issue by cooking our cordon bleu after we pointed out the mistake but there was no apology given by either him or our waiter.

In the end, we were being very nice to them so we decided to not only have the cordon bleu but to eat the wrong dish too(6 dishes instead of 5). This means we paid for 6 dishes(FC4 chicken was overlooked and tough) and the staff didn't even offer any refunds on the wrong dish.

Some of the food was ok and some needed improvement. The price is on the limit of 'cheap'. People should already know what I think about the service and whether will we be...

Wow, this place is delicious. I never seen a good western menu with a fair price in Penang so far except this place. I would rate their customer service 8/10. The time taken to serve the food is not even longer than 15 minutes depending on the item. Sommore they gifted me an ice cream in a plate that said Happy Birthday To You because me and my friends were celeberating my birthday there. We were surprised by them. The taste is really delicious. I ordered a plate of chicken and pork slice with mash potatos and some salads in it which only cost me arround RM15 and sommore they will ask you how you like it to be cooked in terms of doneness. I will surely recommend this place to others and never forget this...

The place was quite busy and service was ok. We had a lime and an orange juice, both were good. The curly and the cheesy fries were good, even though the 'cheesy' art was just a sauce.

My vegetarian spaghetti was very good - cooked well and a decent tomato sauce with black olives, green peppers, onions and real parmesan cheese.

My husband had a burger, according to him the patty was well made but the bun had been overly buttered. I didn't like the sauce on the mashed potato at all - too artificial.

All of it was almost 90RM. I wish they had more vegetarian options. There was no enoki mushroom...
