Kafe Chiang Rai Station — Restaurant in Penang

Bad experience we went through from this shop.We waited almost 1 hour plus for the food but end up get very cold item like the food keep for so long.Then we ask what happened they tell they cook the item earlier then only they realised rice finished.Thats y they took so long to send our table.We ask for cancellation coz the item which we order is steam lala and tomyam and fried egg which need to eat when its hot.But the owner refuses to cancel and they go reheat the item and end up its the taste very bad and its like overcooked.Previously we got eat 2 to 3 times from this shop and it was good so far.They supposed to be more responsible for their mistake and they not feel sorry for their mistake. A cozy little Thai restaurant tucked away in Bukit Mertajam. Though small, the air-conditioned space and local Thai-inspired interior create a comfortable dining environment.

The food is flavorful—highly recommend the Green Thai Curry, which is rich in spices and very satisfying. Their fried egg series is also worth trying—crispy, fragrant, and delicious. However, the vegetable dishes were just average, possibly due to the absence of fish sauce to enhance the flavor.

Noisy Kids run around sitting area, screaming worker server shouting his kids running around, bad dinning experience and atmosphere. male worker doing vaccum on the back curtain while food is serving making the vaccum noise so loud and uneasy to enjoy the food. local chinese server keep scolding his kids running around 👎

very bad service nearly put the hot claypot on top the grass jelly while paying attention to outside door customer, no training or manners while serving 👎
