Was recommended this place for dinner in Bukit Mertajam. There are lots of varieties of local as well as western food from satay, ikan bakar, noodles, dumplings, vegetarian, cakes, nonya kuih kuih, lobak, plus chap fan and siew chow. We had the oyster omelette, bitter gourd pork soup, satay and Chinese dumplings. In addition, we bought freshly baked fluffy Taiwanese cake with cheese stuffing. Overall, the food were normal hawker fare, tasty and fairly priced. The environment was nice. We were there before the sunset. As the sun went down the horizon, the workers opened the roof in the middle of the centre, letting in the cool evening breeze throughout the place.

The challenge here would be the lack of car park around the hawker centre especially if you come around dinner time. Fortunately we arrived just before 6pm and there were a few carpark...

Food and beverage here are all more expensive, basically RM1-2 more expensive than the other. Although there are many food selection available here and some of them are really good food, but the beverage and atmosphere are both really awful here. It can be really hot, messy and oily sitting here. The oily smoke from every stall is flowing everywhere and make it really difficult to sit here while eating the food. The worst part is their beverage… All the drink is bland and tasteless. They are not selling “Milo” even you order “Milo” but giving you some cheap and tasteless chocolate drink. I guess their main focus is...

It's a good place if u want varieties. Plenty of parking space. The only problem here on the food is mass pro, n mass pro means you get inconsistent food quality. Some complaint on being expensive which I do agree. Averagely most of the food is so-so n drinks is self-service. They do not pass down the self-service reduction cost to your drinks. Normally, I would go straight to place an order for my food but here I would walk around two to 3 times undecided what to eat. So, to just fill up your empty stomach, it's a likeable place but to truly enjoy the food, better...

A big food court packed with over 50 different kinds of food stalls in Alma, a lot of local variaty inside. Food court is easy to find, plenty of car parking lots, is a crowded area everyday and night. There's a stall an old uncle selling bitter gourd soup, must try if you are bitter gourd lover. His soup is taste great, won't feel thirsty after finish the soup, delicious yet 清甜. Please take note that to order drinks is self service, you must walk to the counter to order, pay then take your drinks.
