Bhai Biryani Ipoh — Restaurant in Perak

Hmm where to start, good things first kot, very nice ambient for sure 👍

Now for the food 😤 Lamb dum biryani for me was good would say a 8/10 just for the meat itself. Really tender and good 🤤 Chicken dum biryani on the other hand was very average 6/10 and similar price with the lamb? Nahhhh not worth it 👎 Now in the menu for both dum briyani there was an egg in the menu, but when food was served hilang mat telur 😳 I don't know how you can forget, but they did serve me the eggs when asked for but it took twice for me to tell them to bring it out 😳 come on man what kinda service is this? You charge a big amount for your service 🤔 so I believe I'm entitled to comment on it as well right? Butter chicken or something, blud are you guys serious it was literally ayam cebis² mcm dalam tomyam and tasted like ayam masak merah 🥲 lucky that I didn't order it for myself. Lamb shank, bro Istg I'm trying to keep it calm here it was so hard the meat...... How can you mess that up when your lamb was so good in the other meal, RM49 for this dem I'd cry. again luckily I didn't order for myself 😤 Your raita was really bad 🥲 ennada panni vechirkinge felt like moru instead of raita Also extreme amounts of ajinamoto, don't say you don't use them 😭 I'm from Penang I can literally sense if there's Aji or not, and here EXTREME amounts 😤

Finally the drinks 😵‍💫 Buttermilk lassi 😭 this was I have no clue what does it even taste like. I'd say this was more like raita instead of moru 😭

Buck-up 😭 but yeah again kudos for the lamb...

We walked in around 9 PM and asked if food was still available — the staff said yes. Despite the restaurant being uncomfortably hot, we requested the air conditioning to be turned on. They agreed, but only later admitted the aircond wasn’t working — something that should’ve been told upfront.

We initially asked for lamb briyani, but it wasn’t available, so we settled for: • 1 plain naan • 1 butter naan • 1 tandoori chicken plate

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there: The naans were undercooked, still white in color, hard to chew, and lacked any flavour. The tandoori chicken (boneless) was served on a hotplate over onions — the onions were burnt. Mint sauce was only provided after we asked. The heat inside the restaurant was unbearable — we were sweating throughout the meal, making it extremely uncomfortable.

Overall: A very disappointing experience. Poor food quality, lack of transparency from staff, and an unpleasant dining environment. We won’t...

On 30/6/2023 ,Myself & family (4 of us) just had our late lunch.

The order we made extremely LATE to be served !!

Waited for more than 1 hour & after seeing nearby tables are served even though we ordered earlier - I lost my temper & so does my wife ..

It is totally UNACCEPTABLE !!

Furthermore the dish served is NOT THE SAME as in the images .. why is that ??

EVEN THOUGH a dessert is served on complimentary, it didn't cure the anger for the SUPER LATE service !

That will be the 1st & last for us ..

Would I recommend this Cafe?

YES - if you are patience enough to wait and wait and wait for your orders.
