This place called " Silveritage" is really nostalgic for me, as it was my first major project as an architect. We had conducted a study trip to Bali to gather the right concept, but to be implemented in the local Perak traditional culture.

This particular retail lot was earmarked as the main retail outlet, but had changed operators so many times that I had even lost count!! I still remember coming here for lunch with Datuk Lat, but it was called "Labu Sayong" back then, and was also a traditional setup, but still failed miserably...

We had heard about this restaurant from a friend, who spoke very well promoting it. So, while we happened to be in Ipoh that day with some time to spare, we decided to invite our dear friends to join us for lunch. Jan was always a bit sceptical about it, but decided to oblige at Noreen's insistance, only to regret it later!!!🤭😂😂

When we arrived, Jan & Noreen were already there, and had ordered some appetizers. The salad plate with ulam ulaman and pie tie with sauce were acceptable to me. But Jan always like to order various dishes for all to share, instead of ala cartes. Then only we found their shortcomings...In Jan's words, " They endeavor to serve hotel like food dishes that look presentable, but their tastes become secondary..." I added that, " Then, why are they including cafe like foods to be served as ala carte?"

We ended up ordering the Thai Sauce Fish Dish, and the fish was pre fried and a bit curved, while they served it in a deep plate with a lot of gravy. That made it very difficult to for us to take some portion off the fish, as it had slightly hardened, and the serving plate was full of gravy!!

Another order was the Buttermilk Chicken, which were cut into pieces too small that my wife thought they were prawns instead!! The mixed veggie of Brocholis and Mushrooms were quite acceptable though.

Not fully satisfied, and also to prolong our stay, we ended up ordering the High Tea set as well. It was presented in a birdcage like structure, not unlike what we had experienced at the Majestic Hotel in KL, but the contents were totally well below par. My wife had heard praises about the Cucur Udang here, and was keen to try. Alas, she was totally disappointed, as Noreen herself could whip out a much more appetizing Cucur Udang on any given...

Service : Fast respond on the waiters. Short waiting time for the food. Alertness of the waiter is okay. Knowledge of the food is fairly decent. We came 9.30pm.ordered 9.45pm Our 1st experienced here.the cashier come n asked "lambat lagi ke nak order?"😂-shouldnt asked that kind of question to the customer .

The waiter quickly wanted to clear all the table after we finished the meal since it was 10.30pm already-understandable cos operation hour should be end at 10pm. Considered very good. Overall 4/5

Atmosphere : Should get an A grade instead of stated B .

Food : -got the free kuih.was very nice.thank you so much. -Overall i think, the food were a lilttle bit overprice compared to the taste and the quality of the food that we get. -Ordered brocolli with black mushroom.(Forced myself to finish it since we've already spent the money on it)it was not my thing at all.different presentation from what we usually ate at other places. its okay.maybe my expectation was different.this i can accept cause maybe it was my fault.my expectation was wrong maybe. -Tom gha what(i dont remember the name-initially i tought it was tom yam but it was like kuah lemak-the taste was fairly okay)-my fault cos i didnt read the description at all. -Chilli crab (undercook-isi masih berjelly)- the crab taste smokey which is very good but the inside taste like jelly since it was not cooked well-the taste of the chilli paste is perfect.i am a chilli crab fan..its just the crab was undercooked-really spoiled the mood to eat.---totally overpriced .rm68 for 1 crab that served undercooked. -Pekasam rm7 for 1 small piece.seekor kecik.n tasteless.not masin at all.the smell was very² bad.not like the usual pekasam we usually ate. -pengat pisang was so so. -tahu fried with udang- the taste was nice but a bit overpriced.overall it was okay.it was a new thing that i personally enjoyed.thanks. -telur dadar rm7.70 i think it was too much. 2 plates of rice. 1 Ais limau n 2 glases of sky juice.

Total rm179 including 10% of service charge.for an rm180 meal,it was really overpriced with the taste we get.thats all.

Thanks.hope u can improvise the taste cause people that spend that kind amount of money would expect something more tasteir than what we've been served.

So sorry for the...

We acknowledge that the initial mistake was on our side—my father placed the full order via WhatsApp and inadvertently submitted a duplicate, resulting in an order for over 100 packs when we had only reserved 50. However, despite noticing discrepancies in the order list, the restaurant proceeded with the full bulk preparation without verifying the details with him. This lack of communication was disappointing and contributed significantly to the issue.

After several rounds of discussion, we were able to stop approximately 40% of the excess meals. Still, we were left with no option but to consume what had already been served, rather than the meals we had originally intended to enjoy. This outcome was far from ideal and could have been avoided with a simple confirmation step.

It’s worth noting that this is not our first time dining out with a large group—but we’ve never encountered an experience like this before. The handling of the situation fell short of basic expectations, especially given the scale of the event.

Service-wise, the experience was inconsistent. While some staff members were polite and made genuine efforts to assist, others displayed a concerning lack of professionalism. One waitress, in particular, had a visibly cold attitude and treated us as if we were an inconvenience. The drink station was another letdown—despite multiple follow-ups, our drinks arrived only after we had finished eating, and the server delivered them with a slammed gesture that felt unnecessarily hostile.

The food itself was average, and unfortunately, not enough to redeem the overall experience. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there is clear room for improvement in both communication and customer service. Regrettably, based on this experience, we do not...

We had high hopes coming in, especially with the cozy atmosphere and friendly service—but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. We arrived around noon, only to be told that nasi bakar wasn’t available. Instead, we were offered plain white rice, which was already a bit of a letdown. We ordered four set meals: two chicken buttermilk, udang tempoyak, and asam pedas daging tetel. The chicken buttermilk was a miss—it was watery, lacked any chili kick, and the sauce tasted more like diluted butter and milk. The portion was generous, but it felt like eating a bland chicken chop. The udang tempoyak was just fried prawns tossed in tempoyak—nothing special. As for the asam pedas tetel, it was surprisingly bland. We couldn’t taste any of the usual herbs like bunga kantan or daun kesum. Dessert didn’t really turn things around either. The banana split was just okay, but nothing memorable. Adding kunafa was a nice touch, though it could’ve been better with higher-quality ice cream—and maybe skip the mini cocoa crunch next time. Overall, what we got didn’t match what was promised on the menu. It was a disappointing experience, but hopefully Miker Signature takes this feedback to heart and makes some improvements.

My family was having birthday celebration here for my mom. During the meal my family member just pick up a plate and suddenly it was broken. The manager accused us for dropping the plate results in breakage and charged us the ridiculous amount of RM50.00 for one plate. We did not drop the plate, it breaks when we just trying to lift it. Since we were accused of breakage i paid the RM50.00. If the plate price was RM50.00 why was the quality so easy to be broken. I dont mind paying for the trouble but the way manager accused us and straight away charged us RM50.00 is so unprofessional without even have the balls to explain to us on his own. The cashier was polite enough to apologize and explain but she couldn't do anything as it was instructions from the manager to charge us. I dont want to ruined the birthday celebration mood due to this manager accusation without any discussion so we paid and just left. Not to mentioned the steak was raw and my mom couldn't eat it. What a disaster of a birthday celebration to celebrate here. Miker signature could be a great place if it wasn't because of the unprofessional management.
