Coffee Lab Cafe — Restaurant in Perak

The food : -food arrived over the span of 2 hours -some of the food arrived cold -some of us were already eaten while others are still waiting for their food -mine arrived last which is more than 2 hours after we ordered -the steak are difficult to cut, doesn't taste of anything and very chewy -the vegetables that comes with it has the consistency of mash potato, probably due to being boiled for too long -the sauce for the steak are flavorless and watery, couldn't taste anything resembling "mushroom, butter, onion" as described in the menu -due to the sauce being watery and all over the plate, it pretty much soaks up the potato wedges making them soggy

Service : -the waitress are polite and calm, instead of just putting food on the table and leaving, they tried to clarify first and does so in a calm manner -except this one guy who placed the food on the table without asking and shout out his response when being asked question

Overall experience : Obviously waiting 2 hours for food is a big turn off to a lot of customer especially for the food that is not even worth the wait. However, situation like this can be avoided by keeping the visiting group small, a group of 2-4 diner is ideal and anymore than that would affect your experience in this restaurant. As for the food, it is a hit or miss but my personal favorite would be chicken chops which arguably can be considered both delicious and healthy due to its side dish.

The aesthetic cafe I ever visited. It feels like a Pinterest picture come true. Even the water closet is clean. The location of the shop is beside Tom Yum Kung and fronting Piko Piko Cafe, Tealive, and Family Mart.

In terms of food and beverages, I would recommend Streaky Beef Aglio Olio Spaghetti🫶, Sweet Potato Fries are good 👍 crunchy and melt in the mouth. Vanilla Milkshake is also good 🌟.

But Chicken Burger is too blunt, can't finish it. They also serve Shell Out, it looks delicious but we weren't that hungry to try but we asked another customer its worth it to try 👍.

The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, and they also play calm songs. We lost track of time there. The staff is also friendly...

Totally recommended! Drink wise - hot CL machiato is the best! Really nice arts on our coffee! Good job ms barista! Food wise - the menu range is wideeee! Various selection they have there from western (chicken chop, lamb chop, burger), italian (pasta) and malay food (nasi goreng etc). We tried lemon grilled chicken (suits to my liking), nasi goreng seafood (the bomb, we love it!) and carbonara pasta (so-so)….ambience wise, very nice! Super love the deco! Parking wise, there are plenty of parking cos we came during weekdays! So overall, will definitely come again if i were local, unfortunately we just stopped by from our pangkor trip back to KL @...
