The corner kopitiam has been modernised, bright, airy, and surprisingly clean, but it still smells faintly of decades of frying oil, and the ventilation exists only on paper. The café hosts a variety of stalls: Indian rice, nasi kandar, pan mee, loh mee, braised pork noodles, and claypot chicken rice. Most are okay, a few are surprisingly good, and a handful are forgettable. Prices tend to be higher than local averages, but portions are generous. Seating is limited, so expect to share elbow room with strangers, particularly on weekends.
The coffee is the hero here. Thick, aromatic, and uncompromisingly strong, the iced versions—rose coffee, white coffee, kopi O ice—are reliably excellent. Even the cham ice is worth a shot if you like bitterness in full force. The teas are solid; the Hainan milk tea and Teh-C are dependable, though some drinks may occasionally run sweeter than expected.
Food is a mixed bag. The CKT lacks the signature wok hay that separates good from forgettable. The chee cheong fun is generous, stuffed with shrimp and egg, a rare indulgence for a street-style breakfast. Curry noodles and curry pork ribs are hearty and flavourful. Pan mee, wantan mee and other noodles are generally acceptable, though inconsistencies in heat and seasoning give the impression that perfection is elusive here. Dim sum fares less well, often underwhelming in freshness and technique.
Service ranges from helpful and attentive to indifferent or rude, which can feel like a plot twist you didn’t ask for. Some staff are quick and helpful, others are brusque enough to ruin your day. Orders occasionally arrive late or wrong, and if you expect punctuality, adjust your expectations or bring a book.
Xin Asia is a workhorse of a local food hub: not everything works, but enough works to keep people coming back. It’s loud, crowded, sometimes messy, and occasionally overpriced. For anyone passing through Teluk Intan, it is a place to witness how a simple cup of coffee and a slice of toast can tell a story of a town, its people, and the...

Beverage used to be nice , but best is take cold drink instead of hot 1, cause it might too “kaw” if order for hot 1. Kopi stalls :- 3 bangsa + black rose : used to be nice but today taste is lacking. Hor ga Sai (hot) : taste bit sweet & kaw since is hot, so better ask for ice one. Then the taste is ngam ngam.
Xin Asia bit famous due to their kopi & the rosey kopi Moulding can add on top of your drink , but subject to availability.
Few food stalls here , they have Nasi Kandar, dim sum, dry / soup pan mee, pork noodle , bittergourd noodle, Lala meehoon, wantan mee (dry curry, chicken feet, pork meat, pork knuckle), soup pork knuckle noodle, prawn noodle , sizzling noodle , Vietnamese soup noodle, Vietnamese pork chop rice, Vietnamese popiah , western breakfast style , loh mee , chicken rice , fried Kuey Teow .
Food stalls :- 和記wantan mee very fast selling , reach there like 11am, most of the thing sold out already & left wantan mee with dumpling / chicken feet. No chance to try out their wantan mee.
The Vietnamese hawker stall selling Vietnamese noodle , prawn noodle & sizzling noodle . Prawn noodle is averagely , sizzling chicken Yee mee also ok ok . Portion wise not very big . Selling RM6.50 / bowl.
Fried Kuey Teow not very nice, hot wok Hei but the taste doesn’t taste right.
