This is one of local's hidden gem, they open quite early and available for order from 6am, then food availability start to reduce from 10am onwards, by 11am food options will b lesser n lesser. You must come early for this one.
Hidden away from the general crowded touristy spot of ipoh city, this local's gem has been well known to serve traditional dim sum.
Ordered their prawn dim sum, siew mai, which both basically fit in the good quality of meat and texture, their siew mai may look unattractive but it is well flavoured.
For their Char siew pao, it is one of the best one I had so far in Ipoh. This is also the basic first check to see for the chef's skill n experience. Pao was fluffy and spongy, not easily stick to teeth, the char siew portion is quite a lot, a must try.
Their Chee Cheong fun were different than other dim sum Lau, 2 options to choose from such as prawn or char siu served with their unique thick soy sauce and sambal, topped with fried onion and fresh scallion. This is my favourite so far.

Since I don’t want to go for Canning Garden CCF this time I decided to google where can I have some dim sum that locals go so long exits not Foh San or Ming Court.
Thankful I found this traditional local dimsum shop that has been around for many years, saw some reviews said they started in 1979.
True enough mostly locals go to this place and we didn’t have to queue at all and can eat with ease.
Their dim sum is authentic and tasted good and the price was reasonable.
Hope they will be keeping this standard. Will recommend family...
