On 12 May, 2025, I redeemed my Touch n Go e-wallet ice-cream with an order of Angus Burger set and Banana Pie. I was told to scan the QR to redeem the voucher. After having done so, I was told to scan again to make payment but was told it could not be done. 2 Counter staff told I to pay with cash instead. I did. Staff returned a fistful of 5 sen coin as change which I rejected. Since the bill was at RM27.10 where I initially paid RM28 in cash, I told the staff to return RM1 to be replaced with 50sen ie payment of RM27.50 - Was told only 5 sen coin change available. I rejected the offer. She kept quiet and wanted to keep the change, leaving I standing at the counter, staring till I had to open my mouth to ask for the change. She took my new, gold 50 sen coin to the back of the shop and returned about 10 minutes later with the new 50 sen coin swapped for an old silver, larger 50 sen coin. I experienced a significant delay, waiting for over half an hour, and noticed that the staff seemed to be taking an unusually long time to pack orders. Additionally, other customers and I were very disappointed with the service.
