This spot is truly a haven for vegetarians, boasting an extensive selection of meat-free dishes, a rare find in the area. One stall even offers 'Vegetarian Nasi Ayam Penyet' - a delightful surprise for me, as I've never experienced a vegetarian version of this dish before!

U Yen Veggie Stall: I've tried their Hainanese Chicken Rice couple of times, and it consistently impresses me as it comes in full set, including soup, which tastes delicious. However, it's been selling out by 12:30pm lately. The Indonesian staff at the stall often suggest trying other dishes from their menu, which has become a common occurrence.

While I'm unsure if this is a business tactic to promote other dishes, it's essential for the owner to assess market needs/demands and ensure a sufficient supply to sustain their business in...

First time coming across a restaurant that has all vegetarian stalls. Wife shared me this about this shop and today being Friday (vegetarian day for Indians) I decided to try it out.

I tried the Wantan Mee, the Teh-O and also the Signature Satay. At first I had my doubts with the wantan mee when it came but after eating I must say Im very satisfied. The Teh-O is not bad. Then I tried the Signature Satay Stick. Also delicious!

Believe me when I say this, this shop looks quite unassuming, and the workers are mostly women & some men whom are foreigners. But don’t let that fool you, they are making quite good dishes.

Will definitely...

I was so happy to find a vegetarian kopitiam with many options. We tried Wen's vege today and unfortunately I was totally disappointed. Their famous penang white curry is diluted, blend, and the ingredients are just bla. Another recommended dish was the Nasi Ayam Penyet. The ayam was supposed to be the star but it was just over fried and mushroom is dry. Saving grace of this dish is the very spicy sambal which I enjoyed. Ambience is clean and relatively easy to find carpark on the street. Will I revisit? A small maybe, but will definitely not have Wen's and may try Vege Ah Fook instead.
