I have eaten here a few times and the mixed rice place is my normal go to place there are plenty of options available for food, however the pricing can be all over the place! It all depends on the cashier and what they feel they want to charge you.
Food: 4/5 There are tons of Chinese food options and fills a craving for different types of food. Go early or the dishes runout and they don’t replenish as much during the evening hours.
Cleanliness: 4/5 The restaurant is pretty clean for a hawker style place. The mixed rice counter is always clean and they keep the flies away. However I wished they had nose guards etc for protection.
Staff: 3/5 Being a self serve kinda place you are left to fend on your own and take what you like. There is no “asking” for specific dishes or what type of dish that is. So sometimes you think it’s a pork dish but it’s actually chicken.
Price: 4/5 This is a very affordable way to have your meals especially if you are single and/don’t cook. It will be something you can eat consistently at and not grow tired of these dishes.
Overall this is a chain name store mixed rice with a couple of places with the same kinda dishes throughout Petaling Jaya area (other one is is Section 17...

There are so many hawker stalls here selling all kinds of cooked food. Difficult for me to make a choice. There’s a stall selling economical fried noodles, kuih n desserts such as tong sui. A curry Mee stall, chicken rice stall, pan Mee stall Thai food stall, char koayteow stall, pork ball noodle stalln a Yong taufu stall. Another stall sells all types of fried stuff n a stall in front sells all kinds of Chinese buns n tarts. On the right side is a popular stall selling mixed rice with lots of varieties of cooked meat such as fish, chicken n pork. I decided to buy from the yongtaufu stall. I bought 4 rolls of Chee cheong fun n 5 pieces of different kinds of Yong taufu. Then I went to the economical noodles stall n bought 3 different types of Yong sui as my dessert. Read moreThe wan ton noodle here is a simple affair, deceivingly plain but it really is good. The noodle is stringy, loose and refined. The sauces come together. You get that smoky umame prawn flavour. You can taste prawn chunks in the pork-shrimp wan tons. Choice of meats available. Bbq pork, roast duck, roast pork. The char siew has this sticky caramelised outer and a soft gooey inside - pure delight. Guaranteed satisfaction. The 'economical noodle' stall st the 5-foot way also gets a mention. Open very early a.m. daily they serve simple breakfast of noodles, carrot cake, yam cake and packet nasi lemak. Where you add in your sides of proteins and gravies. Sells nyonya and sweet desserts too. Mee Siam sold on alternate days. 'James bond' fries char kuey tiao himself at a stall here. And next door is a lovely yong tau foo stall paired with an...
