I was sooo eager to give my reviews on this restaurant where I came across this review by Ms.Klaudia .H.
Well I went to masala wheels for their mouth watering food where I faced the same situation as Ms.Klaudia H. , but mine was totally different then hers … the waitress attended me was a college student whom is volunteering at the restaurant.
She explained to me , in detailed about their menu for the day and told me that their gravy item will be brought by another waiter where I can pick the ones I like, on the spot . Also she mentioned that they will served everything (as in dishes ) once their fried item is ready ,so that the customers will not be waiting for their fried items while eating finish their meal . Maybe Ms. Klaudia misheard the waitress explanation on picking the gravy dishes .
Overall the services there is very good where the waitresses / waiter are very friendly even when they seemed very busy with other customers .Always they greet us warmly by nodding their head (since we can’t able to see them smile below their mask) . Masala wheels do have a-lot of food varieties to pick from and all tastes very good . But the price is quite high ,having reasonable price will attract more customers perhaps .
Will be coming back surely to experience this environmental place with such good service 💯.Giving 4/5 ⭐️ due...
Read moreI ordered grab service..Price expensive. Portion.. extremly small for banana leaf. That was still fine till i tasted it.. the fried chicken had 4 pieces and had blood till the cartilage. Seemed like not defrozed properly. As for taste of the banana leaf curries. Raita had too much onions and raw chopped carrots which my kid kept throwing. The curries... Horrible. Too spicy and no flavour. The fried chicken was burnt from outside and had no salt. Basically undercooked and hard. The masala chicken briyani was blunt and undercooked. Mangoe lassi.. goodness me.. little mango pulp used n more ice and a lot of sugar. The limau ice was full of ice. The food portions are extremly small.. the cash is big. .. at least the taste n preparation should have been good. Spice should be part of flavour but in this case.. chilli is thrown inside like nobody's business that u cant taste any other flavours. I hope this review can ammend your cooking. Defroze your chicken properly before you fry them. When you make watery raita..it doesnt serve the purpose of serving ur customers. Try to scrap your carrots thin and make it a little thicker with less onions n remove the raw green chilli.. instead add a little salt n lemon in it. Pls amend the briyani cooking too. I think you need another...
Read moreA friend and I had an early lunch here today. There is only Briyani available on Sundays. BLR is not available. We ordered 1 vegetable briyani, 1 small portion of mutton peratal, 1 portion of fried bitter gourd (RM 10), 1 portion tauhu sambal, 1 lemon tea and 1 teh halia kosong. For gravy, chicken and mutton were provided in bulk as was raita. I requested dhall curry and a small portion was provided. We forgot to ask for pappadum, rasam etc and staff were not really knowledgeable about the menu and did not offer these to us. The 4 page laminated menu only listed the food and drink items without any prices. Our meal came to more than RM 50. It is rather expensive. The best item was the fried bitter gourd - it was crispy. The briyani rice was only average - mostly rice, not much vegetable in it. Every dish was excessively oily and greasy. The dhall curry did not taste like dhall curry. The raita was very bland. Quite disappointed as the reviews were good and our food wasn't. Service can be improved. In my opinion, a few vegetable dishes should be offered even with briyani. Only options available are all deep fried - bitter gourd, ladies finger and 1 more (maybe cauliflower -...
