Piccadilly Restaurant is a Southern cafeteria chain that dishes up American comfort classics in a simple, family-friendly setting. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with checkered tablecloths and framed paintings of British landmarks on the walls. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is reasonably priced.
I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a biscuit. The steak was cooked to perfection and was very tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the green beans were cooked al dente. The biscuit was flaky and buttery.
I also ordered the mac and cheese, which was creamy and cheesy. The macaroni was cooked al dente and the cheese was melted and gooey.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Piccadilly Restaurant. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. However, I do think that the restaurant could improve in a few areas. For example, the portions could be a bit larger, and the menu could offer more variety.
Overall, I would give Piccadilly Restaurant 3 stars. It is a good option for a casual meal with family or friends, but it is not the best restaurant in town.
Here are some pros and cons of Piccadilly Restaurant:
Pros:
Casual atmosphere Friendly service Reasonably priced food Good selection of American comfort classics Cons:
Portions could be larger Menu could offer more variety Food can be a bit greasy Overall, Piccadilly Restaurant is a decent option for a casual meal. However, it is not the best restaurant in town. If you are looking for a more upscale dining experience, I would recommend trying...
Read more4/5 because this is an above average place when it comes to price, and quality. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food items. Most newcomers are stunned by the choice in the menu. Few items on the menu are really good and can be considered a must have, the others are just fine.
The naans (plain, garlic, cheese, vegetable) are good, the sizzling chicken chop is considered to be a favorite, the soups and spaghetti are alright. I didn't like the thai section much, and would skip that. The Indian and local cuisine food items offer great value for money.
Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday are crowded. If there is a noteworthy football event happening, expect it to be really packed. Come early to get a table. On a normal weekend the music gets pretty loud, and there is always chatter in the restaurant. The area of this place is huge, and there shouldn't be problems finding a table at around 8:30 or 9. They remain open until 2AM or 3AM.
Beers come as towers, buckets, and glasses. In my opinion, the buckets are a better deal than a tower (which I feel is watered down). There are a lot of appetizers such as Twister fries (a favorite and must try), spring rolls. Cheese sandwiches, and pizza (personal pizza) are very cheesy and unhealthy in a delicious kind of a way.
Plenty of parking is available in Millennium square, and be on the lookout for signs on how to get there. Having your car parked behind the restaurant by the road will most probably get you a summon from the traffic police as they go on...
Read moreSome told me this is a high varieties food of restaurant and when I take a look at the menu, this is not just high varieties but a very confusing fusion wannabe. They practically have local, Thai, Japanese, Indian, etc. Its a good tactic to have so much varieties of food from every countries but to be honest, if I do want to have Thai food or Japanese bento, I’d rather go to a proper Thai Restaurant of Japanese Restaurant and not this type of exceed fusion confusion wannabe. It really wasting time looking at the menu. We’ve ordered the lemon chicken which, not very exciting but plain but rice, chicken and a not appetising fried egg layer on top, a very normal and salty mee rebus, oily ikan bilis, not crispy onion ring and a Nasi Pattaya which took 20 minutes to arrive and just a fried egg top up on the rice instead of origin Thai cooking. Cincau drinks taste like sugar syrup top up with glass jelly. Others were sweet. Place are overload of floor staff on a Monday quiet night without any World Cup matches - more than 10 just walking up and down, ignoring dirty tables or chatting. Overall, not a good place to recommend for good food but if hanging out with bunch of friends for some...
