I would say this is the worst meal ive ever had in kundasang. We’ve ordered curry chicken, two vege dishes, two plate of sweet sour pork and one sweet corn soup. Only curry chicken turns out to be decent. The pork was filthy and disgusting to eat. I couldnt even swallow it at all, the pork taste like it wasnt defrosted properly before cooking, when i eat, theres juices mix of blood, “stinky” fats and water. Most of the pork given was mostly fats also, out of 12 pieces only 5-7 was meat. The vege dishes happens to be the same thing also. The vege itself is not fresh, you can literally see its yellowish and not fresh green. I dont even know how a restaurant with such high rating cant even cook a normal vege dishes. Other than that, the corn soup was weird. It taste weird and felt weird. Not only that, the environment is dirty, damp and dark. Its also filled with a LOT like LOTS of flies. Overall, worst experience and worst food ever eaten in kundasang. Dont even waste your money...

Trust me, do not believe these baseless 5 star reviews or social media recommendations. After consuming the self-proclaimed signature lamb curry, I had uncontrollable food poisoning and visited the toilet 5 times in a span of 4 hours. There is clearly a hygiene issue and flies were constantly circling around our food. I'm not the only one who has faced this issue, as you can see from the other 1 star reviews. This is undoubtedly the worst restaurant I have visited and was a treacherous experience that ruined my trip. If you are in the area, please eat somewhere else like KFC or Hoya Cafe. I could go on about more problems I've encountered in this restaurant but it isn't worth my time. If you are reading this, there is no reason for me to deliberately tarnish this restaurant out of nowhere, eat there at...

Had my meal here twice during my 3-day trip and honestly, this should be the only place you eat at (for those who like chinese food), just my opinion la haha

We've had... Curry lamb: 9/10 , lamb was tender, curry wasn't too spicy Yau mak: 10/10 , i love fresh veges Onion omelette: 7/10 , nothing special, just good eggs Black pepper deer: 10/10 , tender, flavourful, bestt!!

Bakuteh: 6/10 , meh for me, wasn't the kind we like in KL, they use a lot of meatballs instead of pork but ok la for a hearty meal during rainy season Mix vege: 5/10 , uh, yeah don't order this, taste-wise is good but lets not imagine where all these leftover-looking veges came from Ginger pork: 8/10 , meat was tender and it was flavourful, yums Buttermilk sotong: 6/10 ,...

Recommended restaurant for local food. Wooden structure, with indoor and outdoor (if you're not afraid of the cold) seating. Delicious and value for money. Beautiful sunset view if you're here for dinner. The stewed wild boar is recommended, venison is good too. The local mushrooms are battered and deep-fried for a nice crunch. The fish maw soup is thick, with the aroma of cooking wine, and is great to have in the cold mountain air. Don't expect 5-star cleanliness here. Plenty of roadside parking.

The place is over rated. The Tom Yum meehon soup is way too dried. Asked the Chinese waitress whether can add some soup so at least i can finish the food. But she said it’s more than enough and they won’t able to refill any soup even just a little. Too bad. Taste is not that worse but not worth to spend rm12-14 per bowl for Tom yum that don’t even have enough soup. I don’t mind the place having a lot of flies and visit quite often but the food is disappointed. It’s my last time thanks!
