Upon my recent visit, I must say that the restaurant served a selection of dishes that left me with a mixed impression. Although the fish served was okay, I couldn't help but feel that it lacked the freshness that one would expect from a fish specialist. Nevertheless, the hamchoi soup was pleasingly light and satisfying, without any discernible issues. The dry noodle, while not particularly outstanding, was still enjoyable in its own right.

One aspect of the meal that definitely stood out was the chili sauce. Its delectable aroma of garlic and chili oil paired with lime juice made for an impeccable blend of flavors that truly enhanced the overall experience.

As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, it boasted a pleasantly airy setting with tables that were thoughtfully spaced out to ensure comfort and privacy for diners. Overall, it's not worth RM20 for this fish...

Popped by today and had no choice but to order the kepala ikan soup cos isi ikan was all finished. Firstly, I'm really skeptical when they tell me isi ikan all finished and only kepala and sirip left. I feel like they always tell customers this to force them to upgrade. Anyway, I had the kepala and it was okay lah, nothing special. They didn't have any blended chilli like other places so eating the kepala wasn't as much fun or delicious as it could have been. The konlau mee was so so. To me it wasn't worth paying rm25 for konlau mee kepala ikan. I didn't want to order the mixed option cos that's all just fish cakes. Anyway, I thought the fish noodle soup at CKS Khidmat was better. You get some vegetables in your soup and you get blended chilli and potong ones too. Madam Ing is alright but if i have to pay for the kepala ikan I'd rather have the one at...

If u like fresh fish...this is the place u need to visit. It is always packed and crowded. So u might have to wait for your turn.

There are many types of soup base to choose; ham choi tomato 🍅 soup (salted vege), bitter gourd soup, clear soup, tom yam soup. Then u decide which fish parts u want ; sliced fish (fried or normal), fish maw, fish head, fish eyes, fish skin, fish tofu and so on.. finally, choose the type of noodles: vermicelli, noodles, hor fun (soup or dry).

When u place ur order, the boss will tell u how much does ur bowl of food costs. If u agree, then he proceeds with the order.

Make sure u have time to spare if u want to enjoy ur food here... There might be around 15 mins waiting time depending on the no of...

Local favorite for 'sup ikan' @ fish noodles. Keratang fish is available at market price. Mix biasa RM10 consist of fish cake, balls, noodle with your choice of Mee/meehoon/kueh tiaw. Kepala/sirip/ekor are priced @ RM25 per bowl. Soup base can choose either ham choi, peria, sayur pahit, asli, susu. Taste wise, I prefer this shop's compared to Wan-wan shop. More tangy and tasty. This shop is airy and has good breeze coming into the shop while eating, less sweating. Parking is ample around 1-2pm weekday Update Dec 2023 Prices for mixed fish paste noodles has gone up ~10%
