Majestic Oriental Restaurant — Restaurant in Sabah

I recently visited the Majestic Oriental Restaurant in Kota Kinabalu and was blown away by the delicious food they served. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but I highly recommend trying their fried rice, mix vegetables, and crispy chicken lemon.

The fried rice was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning and a delightful mix of vegetables that complemented the dish well. The mix vegetable dish was fresh and had an assortment of vegetables that were cooked just right.

Lastly, the crispy chicken lemon was a standout dish that you must try. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the crispy batter paired nicely with the tangy and flavorful lemon sauce.

Not sure about the restaurant. But I attended my friend's wedding, it was held at the lobby, looks like a lobby more than a hall. There's 15 tables that night. And it feels hot, the AC isn't cold enuf.

Secondly, there's this fish dish. The fish was not fresh. I didn't notice it right away, I tot, hmm, maybe this fish has such powdery texture. Then when others started mentioning abt it, yeah, it's not fresh. Alot of left overs that night.

Parking was insufficient.

Food wise in general, it's okay. Just the fish not fresh that day.

Summary: holding wedding there might not be a good idea, but just casual eating there is totally fine. The 2 stars is solely based on that night's performance.

So, perhaps other casual days it'll give diff experience I guess?

4 dishes w drinks rm145, portion served is good for 4pax plus complimentary watermelon fruit dish.
