among the best places to eat local Muslim food in KK☺️... there are many choices of grilled fish, grilled squid and has a lot of sabah local food choices. If you are open to trying traditional Sabah food (from afew ethnic in Sabah; from what i can see, there has kadazan dusun, bajau, malay brunei food) then you can come to this restaurant. when we came to have lunch, the restaurant was in clean, tidy and airy condition....very relaxing.. The staffs very friendly and helpful. Just one thing should be improved, should more alert about the flies around the foods. If you love to try the Sabahs' ethnic food, you should try hinava, Piutu, Sianglang, sinagol, latok-latok, tempe, sotong hitam, their grilled fish and grilled squid with sambal belacan 🤤...

This is a good and cheap restaurant to try local Sabahan food.

The restaurant offers Nasi Campur style food - pick and choose cooked dishes, to eat with rice.

The owner is very friendly and helpful.

I tried 8 dishes. Total cost was RM17.

Piutu (Made from Cassava) - RM2 Sianglang / Tompeh (Made from Cassava) - RM2 Ikan Hinava (Fish in lime juice)- RM2 Sinagol (Shredded stingray)- RM2 Agar-Agar (Seaweed salad) - RM2 Latok (Seaweed) - RM3 Sotong Goreng (Deep-fried squid 5 pieces) - RM2 Tempeh (Fermented soybean) - RM2

If you are an adventurous tourist wanting to try local Sabahan food, I recommend you to try NK Restaurant.

Best to come between 9am to 12pm noon to enjoy freshly cooked...

One of the best experience and hospitality we received at KK! Googled for authentic Sabah food and found this place. The ladies who run this stall were so so warm in welcoming us! They had even explained to us thoroughly what we are ordering and informed us what we should try! We are so thankful for them, they had really made this trip an experience for us to bring back!
