My first time dine in here. I came with my daughters and grandson. As we entered the Kopi Ping Cafe it was really crowded. We asked if there's table for us and the waiter went upstairs and later called us to go upstairs. We went up, it was also crowded. So the waiter showed us our table and we seated there. Another waiter came and gave us menu book. We ordered our foods and drinks which was written on a piece of paper and my grandson brought it to the cashier. While waiting our foods, I took few photos. It was quite long time for us to wait for our order. Then a waiter came to serve our drinks. I ordered cold lemon honey but given hot lemon honey. I called the waiter but was busy and never even heard me because of the noises. People were non stop talking. It was really noisy. Another waiter came up and I called him and told him that there's a mistake in my order. My grandson's gave him the cash bill. He went down and later he came up with a plastic cup filled in with ice cubes but without straw (see picture). We waited and waited for our foods. Later our foods came dish by dish and mine was the last one with my grandson's food. We asked the waiter for fork and spoon, he brought the fork and spoon and went away. Another waiter happened to pass us, we asked for tissues to wipe the fork and spoon and he said "Why there's no more tissue there?" and he pointed to a cabinet near the stairs. We just kept quite because this was our first time dine in that Cafe. He expects us to go around and search tissues? He went to the cabinet but no tissue so he went down then came up and gave us s box of tissues. So that's it. We ate our foods and people around us were still talking, non stop talking. Suddenly we heard a child cried so loud from downstairs. Just imagine the voices of people talking loudly plus kid screaming. It was just like the food court at night market. I think the food court at night market is much better. This one is so so uncomfortable. I cannot even taste the food delicious or not due to the noises. My head became dizzy. This is the first time I encountered a very uncomfortable place to dine in. Very noisy. Small table for four person. Big round table for two persons and a kid. Waiters not organized. Limited space upstairs. Fork/Spoon & Tissues not ready
Comments for improvement. Please instruct two waiters stand by downstairs and upstairs to make sure that customers got what they have ordered and the other waiter to place customers to the right table according to the numbers of customers.
Place all the spoons and forks wrapped with tissues on the tables.
Train your waiters to speak politely...

Today we decided to lunch here.Yeahh...we're excited after long time not having lunch there. We order nasi ayam hainanese and 2 set of nasi ayam berempah. I remember we order our food at the counter on 1237pm. That time not many people in the kopitiam.while waiting the food we chit chat.1.05pm the food still not served..We ask the waiter where is the food?ready or not?the cashier lady came told us need to wait another 8 minutes. OK..we agreed to wait.kopitiam start crowded.We saw the waiters kept on delivered the food to others table..where is our nasi?? tik tok tik tok 10 minutes pass by.the food still not arrived.once again we ask our food.the lady go to kitchen.don't know what drama inside.finally she came out.inform us nasi x masak lagi...Uuuuuiina....nasi x masak lagi after 1 hour waiting.beras batu ka tu? The end we went back without having lunch there.1 hrs is wasted. We are very very very very disappointed with the service.Why?we sat in front of the counter.why nobody(pekerja) asking us what is your order?how long already wait?Nobody bother us sat there for sometime without food on table.nobody approaching us. Ingat kami datang sana mau borak sejam tengah tengah musim covid ni.
I don't aspect that nasi tak masak from kopi ping because your are well known kopitiam. Please improve your kitchen...

I ordered Teh Tarik and my drink were presented with less tea and more condensed milk so no Teh Tarik taste at all. Luckily the staff allowed me to 'top up' the tea content into my drink for free. Good to know that the drink wasnt too sweet, as requested.
The Nasi Lemak + Chicken Wings I ordered - portion was great. Chicken Wings was crispy (I believe the batter used was starch flour) but the chicken flesh was rather hard and dry, meaning its not fresh. The sliced cucumber was also dry and unappetizing. I believe this is a pre-cut prep.
The staff that served my Nasi Lemak - his thumb was inside the plate (the way he holds the plate). He should serve the plate on his hand, palms up and slowly glide the plate on the table. I believe he didnt sanitize or wash his hands with soap before serving food. Hygiene in F&B is an utmost priority to me.
The small saucer for the sambal of the Nasi Lemak - this saucer shouldnt be placed in the plate as it was prepared separately - the base of the saucer was placed on a surface of a work table for food preparation, then placed on a plate where the food is.
